  1. No doubt. Just a matter of finding a bar that is willing to allow us some semi-dedicated space on game day.
  2. Ballston Lake here.....wonder how many on this board are in the Cap Dist.
  3. Totally agree. Right now, I have that same feeling that I had in the late 80s that tells me there is something different about this team. Playoffs this year is a stretch though I would be more than pleased it it was to come to pass. Realistically, this team is finding its way. EJ is more than a project but quite a bit less than the polished QB we had in Kelly back then. I like the pace with which the coaches are bringing him along. I'm looking more for competitiveness with steady improvement out of the team this year. I'll probably be on the edge of my seat all season. Once I go back to pacing, muttering to myself and screaming at the TV, I'll know that the Bills have finally arrived.
  4. Very good win. More to come. If they can cut down on the killer penalties even better.
  5. Are you kidding? Lots of mistakes but I am encouraged with the way they hung in and I think EJ is the real deal. Granted, it's the first game and they have a long way to go but I like the direction in which they appear to be headed.
  6. i thought I heard Ingognito was cut earlier in the week.
  7. Yeah, that's a good thought. I'm sure there's plenty of blame to go around but I don't blame a player for wanting to get all he can when he can. They generally have such short careers coupled with contracts that aren't guaranteed and few of them are truly prepared for life after football that can come upon them very suddenly. I'd love to see Byrd signed and in camp but I understand.
  8. I don't think anything can compare to that. That was just unbelievable.
  9. I like Jordan Reed but I'm intrigued a bit more by Nick Kasa.
  10. If he has success, he's going to love it even more. Remember, Jimbo initially didn't want to be here. Perhaps I'm just a bit starved to have a QB who gives at least the appearance of being legit but I'm breathing a sigh of relief right now.
  11. It sure did. Like the pick and the Bills got those extra pics in the process. Looking forward to tomorrow....have to get a WR.
  12. I liked Fitz but he just didn't have the tools. Onward and upward.
  13. Considering we fans have no body of work by which to judge TJ (thanks, Chan), I can only say this is a good move at this point. To me it says they're not looking to make a first round QB selection, though I believe they'll look to get one in round 2 or 3.
  14. Our record with Patriots retreads isn't so good. Call me superstitious, but I'd stay away.
  15. Dare to dream, my friend....dare to dream!
  16. I think we would want someone who can adapt his approach to fit the players he has. Didn't we see enough of someone who couldn't/wouldn't do that in Gailey? What if the team is beset with injuries and the best personnel grouping left is better suited for a 4-3? You're screwed if the coach can't adapt.
  17. What? The NHL lockout is over?! Slow start to the day for me and all this has gone on.
  18. That's a nice coaching job. I'll have to read some more about the guy.
  19. I don't think Andy Reid would come here, though I like the idea. Really haven't paid enough attention to Horton to have an opinion.
  20. Have to agree there. Although Chip is very intriguing, I'm just not that excited about rolling the dice that he can duplicate his success in the NFL. Lovie, on the other hand, is a proven NFL coach who probably has something to prove given that he was just made a victim of one the most ill-conceived coach firings that I can remember. The idea of Whisenhunt as HC scares me....feels like fools gold.
