  1. I wish all of you guys well. I have served the team faithfully in cities all-around the country proud of my colors. Well I'm not from western NY, but the Adirondacks, and I've never seen the Bills play live. I've watched just about every game since I discovered football in 89'. I even watched the entire Oilers game and I BILLeved. Why should I treat a team like a wife or a child I love? They don't treat me that way, they treat me as a product they can capitalize on, and if that's true why oh why should I treat the product so lovingly when I cannot love the product they give me? Why should be so hell-bent on the emotions of a team that I don't live there and MAINLY because you treat the customer like garbage? People can say I'm a bandwagon jumper and to that I say B.S. I always had hope the product would improve and I could enjoy the game even if they lose. I enjoyed watching the Bledsoe years as much as they pained me because we tried to improve the team even though the results weren't great. I got excited about Losman as a 1st rounder even after his 2 games under 80 yards and I was scratching my head how he was in the NFL. I loved the Flutie OR Johnson year, even the Collins years. Now as a man in my 30's I realize this is a business, and why should I treat this business like my freaking family when it spits in my face? I should be following players and liking those teams they play on. Some team that is exciting and young with a good nucleus I could enjoy for 8-10 years. The hiring of an old man as GM without any experience and a figure-head to a nerd who knows nothing about football, to an owner who won't hire a guy like Schott, to finally now hiring a guy like Gailey has me relinquish my love for this team. I wish everyone well and I'm sure all the "don't let the door hit ya" posts will be lost on me as I don't care. Thanks Ralph!!!!
  2. Imagine a bunch of men, most of whom have never read any of the greats of philosophy, especially political philosophy, begin to understand what is the best way for man to live or the best way for the society to be built discuss issues. It's akin to a group of men discussing the best way to make a bridge based on physics without any background in math. So when the use of the words "right", "good", "just" is used by some who blatantly deny God's and nature's law even when it is apparent in nature I mock you. The consistent slamming of Christians but never of Jews or Buddhists only prove that Jesus Christ is the King of society and while you mock me you will not mock Him forever, the nature inherent in all of us, or the society which will be ending before your eyes in the coming years with the destruction of the dollar. And if any of you idiots think you understand Christianity and think this is non-Christian is as much of a lie as your own life. I would be a liar like you if I said otherwise. To speak the truth and rebuke you monsters is as Christian as the "peace" and flowers message which is a ersatz of the truth. To all of you who are the silent types against these mocking monsters don't lose hope. I wish all men of good will well.
  3. Who cares if he is a college coach. He was an NFL QB for 14 years. If he was a O-lineman or LB different story. But he knows the game in the NFL
  4. Whitner's time is over, he'll never be worth playing over Wilson or Byrd. He's not worth the $. Now if we cut him and re-signed him to vet minimum I'd be on board with that. I did call cutting Whitner in pre-season. Anyone who had eyes noticed the huge difference in coverage on Gates with Donte or with Scott covering him. Donte is just that bad in coverage. Decent to good with the run, but not a starter, and certainly a bust.
  5. You're not sold on Scott's pass coverage but think Whitner's is better? Scott is even better in coverage for a SS than Whitner. They put Whitner at FS just to keep playing him. I hope they trade for whatever they can get to get rid of his salary. I said last off-season it was wiser to cut him and save the $$$.
  6. I thought he was supposed to start getting good around 2015, and if so he's just getting started.
  7. I love the idea of Billick. I don't blame the QB thing on him, he didn't draft Boller, the GM did. Yes, his QBs stank, but that's more indicative of the front office.
  8. Help me out too. I'm really looking for the game and would greatly appreciate it!
  9. Sure, individual members who do wrong are a great reason to say the movement is screwed up. Why not those who are casting the stone, the same who defend the clowns in the D party, show me where the greater problem is? Of course you won't, principally because you know where the real corruption is. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/index.php?...90&hl=drugs
  10. Wrong. 1st the Constitution never was supposed to fund individual companies to begin with, that was never it's intent. Congress had no right to do so in the 1st place. Why not learn original intent in law. Maybe your loyalties exist with the Democrat party. I don't support either of them since they both break the law in this and in many other regards.
  11. Drayton Florence to me is not on the bubble but a definite, same with Schobel who was just extended. Both are playing solid. As far as the "would probably" I would say Lindell is a definite and has earned a starting job. He's not only been a good FG kicker but he's very solid in kick-offs. You have definitely Posluszny but I don't see how or why he is a definite and guys like Schobel and Lindell are not. Explain
  12. I'd still take Edwards over Cutler. Edwards is a back-up QB, while Cutler is a salary cap eating destroyer who could be good some games but losses too many to be worth more than $5 mil a year. Right now he's an average to eat up 1/10th of the salary cap of Chicago. Payton Manning, sure... Cutler... NO!
  13. So the entire argument about God is that he is incorporeal (true) and therefore not provable? I mean why not argue against the existence of society, justice, culture, goodness, etc. because they are all incorporeal too. How about numbers, they are incorporeal abstractions of the singular directed by the abstractions of reason. Just because there are 5 solid proofs that God exists does not mean they do not exist because they are not perceptual, it just means you are not intellectually capable to understand the logic. It would be as if you were arguing with an engineering major about gravity and the mathematical basis for such decisions that would go into making a bridge. Imagine you saying "well gravity is not visible and I've never seen a 2 of anything, let alone calculus, why not just say you can't prove it and we are on equal ground ok?" Metaphysics is the same thing, except you believe because you have equal abilities to reason as others that you must be rational, and therefore we are on equal ground in the debate. Well before we go any further in the argument "if you can't see/taste/feel it" well it's all conjecture just remember that your entire reasoning process is based principally on logic which is also something you cannot taste/see/feel but rationalized based on ideas which are conceptual, not perceptual.
  14. Do you really want to compare Hardy with Moulds at this point of both their professional careers? Hardy is that bad as a pro right now... I still give him some reps at the end of the year then get rid of him if he is still stuck in unmotivated world. It's not that he can't, it's that he doesn't seem to want to fight for his career.
  15. If Alex Smith continues to play reasonably well why not? He's 25 and he's showing something right now. His last game he had 2 bad throws but overall looked pretty good in the last 2 games. Why not see if he can play ok and make a run at him and draft O-line at tackle in the first.
  16. While I agree do you think Maybin's additional 20 lbs was added through creatine and protein powder? Some guys have better genetics for the juice.
  17. Abortion. Kill a bald eagle egg $25,000 fine/4 years in jail. Kill a baby and get labeled a champion of choice. I mean even our current President was in favor of infanticide on abortions that didn't work. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BYRpIf2F9NA I'm not justifying Vick and think he's scum, you just don't realize how crazy the world is. Have you read where the abortionist Curtis Boyd just this week admits: "Am I killing?" Boyd said. "Yes, I am. I know that." http://www.lifenews.com/state4549.html
  18. Maybe they should put in Doug Flutie at SS. He seems to be the answer quite a bit lately.
  19. The greatest problem of all is we are having this discussion when there are 10 QBs about to break 4,000 yards this season. I f'ing hate Flutie and Johnson. Flutie was discovered and sucked in SD but played poorly here with a few games here and there he was good. How many games did we win without scoring 20 points? A lot. But he was fun to watch and I would have taken him over Johnson while at the time I wanted Johnson just because he was younger with a bigger arm. Now that I'm older I realize the "fun" factor Flutie brought which cannot be measured. Many of us can't stand the last few years because they aren't fun. Flutie made the games fun to watch, even when we scored 17 in the win just because every point looked like a miracle.
  20. Numbers can mean whatever you want them to mean. Vinny Testaverde has more yards than Joe Montana. You are an idiot if you can't understand that. Turnovers change games and Cutler changes the game in a negative way frequently and often. In the 3 losses this year he has had 2 or more INTs a day. It's extremely hard to win with 2 INTs a game. I would say most QBs that throw 2 INTs a game lose 80% of the games they are part of. If you think a projected solid starter you are not thinking right. He is not a solid starter and will never be until he stops throwing as many INTs. Until then he is a team killer. The difference is Trent is paid 3rd round money, while Cutler is signed through forever at $10 mil plus a year killing the team's cap. If you think you can compare yards and touchdowns and that makes sense you think Testaverde should be in the Hall of Fame, same with Bledsoe.
  21. That's why I said "Fight for a pass? Once"
  22. I would take Trent Edwards over Cutler right now... not because Edwards is good or Cutler is worse, or vice versa... It's that Edwards is a known quantity as a back-up and Cutler is not a solid QB with a HUGE contract that will hamstring the Bears for years.
  23. What he said. Jump ball? Never. Fight for a pass? Once. Stopping running his route when hearing the footsteps? All the time.
  24. Alex Smith: 25 yrs old, high potential that came out too early in the draft and would be a great shoe-in for development next year until there is a great pick that slid too much (Aaron Rodgers) and wait until next year.
  25. We missed getting Warner, twice. We didn't go after Brees after he was good from SD McGahee over anyone near that pick Kelsay over the other DEs available Whitner, and wow, what a horrible pick + we could have gotten more picks with getting him McCargo, nuff said Matt Schaub 3rd rounder and some of us were wanting him, still could have had him later McKelvin= Loss of Greer (cheaper to extend) and lost Clady who is a beast Pat F'n Williams Missed on not hiring Tom Coughlin and I was calling for him Why go on? Here are some decisions I don't think weren't so bad that people think were bad: Mularky... I think he could have been decent with the right ingredients Winfield: He got too much in FA Bledsoe/Owens: gave the fanbase hope and Bledsoe for the 1st half of the year played all world. We gave up too much for him, but he did a lot to give the fans an offense again for 8 games and it rejuvenated the team
