Baluga>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Trent Williams Plus Baluga is a Jr and unlikely to declare IMO - prob shouldnt even be ont he board.

Players that should see snaps/plays designed for them simply to evaluate them. S.Johnson Hardy Nelson Meredith Maybin Harris Ellis These are all guys you mentioned. The first three dont need a lot of PT (I assume they wont get it with Lee and TO) but just 3-4 throws a game designed for them may be enough over the next feew weeks. Harris/Maybin cant be any worse than what we have, and Ellis cant be much a down grade either. Tha problem is those are the coaches decisions, Fewell is coaching for a HC job, or a DC job somewhere else - not likely to happen.

He also never carried his team. His Hiesman year that Ok offense was run first pass second. His running game and OL won those games and made him look like some kind of superstar, whish he never was. I was interested in seeing him carry that teams O this season like Matt Ryan did at BC, but he got injured, twice, and missed the entire year. I will pass on those ????

Jimmy Clausen to enter 2010 Draft
High Mark replied to bobobonators's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My bet is one of those guys will be around at the end of the second round, maybe by our 3rd pick even. Id take anyone of them as a flyer/development pick. No reason in drafting a high QB who has the same chance to succeed in the NFL as any of the first round guys, especially with this terrible OL. Let them ride pine for 2 years and bring in Garica. That pick or Brohm may take the reins. McCoy and Tebow(mainly) have killer potential and the plays they dont make with their arms they can make with their legs - think Vince Young last Monday night. I would only draft Snead in the 7th round, not any earlier. This team team needs to invest their first 2 picks on the lines and an LB. -
Didnt we do that with Chris Draft just this season? This FO is a joke, but the Meredith/Brohm moves were impressive I must say.

Anyone watching Texas-texas A&M?
High Mark replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not sure how you could watch Colt tonight and not be impressed, he was terrific. As was Johnson. He actually looked like he had great NFL potential, something I wouldnt say about his entire career. -
Come on guys, give him a break, he just needs to develop....
-
I hope that the Bills' get a Vince Young-type QB.
High Mark replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe we could just get THE Vince Young - he has a chance of being cut, even if it gets smaller and smaller by the week. VY is my favorite non-Bill in the NFL. Has been since he was drafted. -
Kelly: Move on from Edwards. Target Tebow. (linkage)
High Mark replied to Lv-Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
To defend Tebow, he has no problem with accuracy or armstrength, its his windmill like release. That motion can be 100% overhauled in the same fashion that Arron Rodgers was. Who knows if he will be successful doing so, but something tells me Tebow has the will power to do it. The Bills first two picks should be tackles, then take Tebow if he is out there (my bet is he is long gone) -
Being inclined to think this Dee is NOT of Fewell's design
High Mark replied to eSJayDee's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe he is like Maybin.. You know, listed at 342 (250) but really weighs 285(225). -
Agree 100% with the 2 T approach, but Wood plays C and Levitre plays G. Levitre>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Hangartner
-
Yea good points. Not playing great this year but better going forward into 2010. We really need Wood and Butler back at 100%. And Im not the biggest fan of Hang either.... too easily dominated physically IMO.

Be careful what you wish for, Bills fans

Baby steps PTR, baby steps. Shanny will build this team right. He will get us a QB and an OL. He will learn his lesson and figure out the D side of the ball and get us near the top there too. In his 2nd year we make the playoffs. In his third we beat out the Pats for the Division. in his 4th we win our first playoff game and so on. After 5 years he may retire and leave a top OC/DC to take over the team and just keep rolling. The Steelers/Pats/Colts werent built overnight. I want this team not to win one SB and fall back to the bottom like Tampa, but have the chance to win one every year, and win multiple like those three teams. Big Pictures take baby steps. -
Apparently Jairus Byrd has been replaced

Being inclined to think this Dee is NOT of Fewell's design
High Mark replied to eSJayDee's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well Ill tell you what, as of right now Russ Brandon is the GM. As GM he has final say on all the personnel moves. Russ Brandon also talked to Shanny last week (Brohm) to schedule a meeting, then met with him for 7 hours on Monday and Tuesday (Harvey). Shanny has been reported to be studying the 3-4 and plans to use that D with his new team. Coincidence...... I THINK NOT! -
Fewell does the unthinkable!!!
High Mark replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I will be just fine as the Bills win three Superbowls with Shanny... Honeslty though, I like what Fewell has done so far in terms of making these guys football players again. But Fewell totally blew the game management at half and in the 4th, then in his press confrence he admitted he was playing for 3 at half, not a TD. That my friends is a LOSER any way you cut it. FGs lose games in the NFL because they mean you didnt score 7, and are just a sign that the other team will beat you in the end. Add in the little buddy cover two, I am not a fan. -
I would argue that Hangartner is not exactly an upgrade - do you not notice him getting bowled over every week? Second, with the HUGE drop off we have seen at Tackle, I wouldnt say our OL has more talent at all. Peters 10x better than whoever we haev tried. Walker 20x better than everyone we have tried minus Butler for 1 game Wood while good is now injured with career in jeopordy, and even before was he an upgrade over Butler? Not really. Levitre is better than Dockery, but its almost a push. Hangartner is better yes, but still bad Our OL has more promise for the future (or at least it did before Wood and Butler were lost) but in no way is it better than last year.

If James Harrison was any good do you really think the Ravens would have cut him during training camp and not even let him on the practice squad where any team was free to sign him? Great organizations keep young talented QBs with potential on the roster and develope them. That is where the Bradys Romos Warners Hasselbacks Bulgers Delhommes Garcias Ortons Cassels of the league come from. We may have one of those on the roster in Brohm - I think we do. I would like to see him start this season, but I realise he wont be ready, our OL sucks, and it may hurt him in the long rung, but hey he could be great from day 1 too. We need to knwo if we should draft a 1st round QB or not.

Have you been in ND? Its in the middle of no where, 0 nightlife when compared SEC and even Big 10 schools, freezing cold in the winter, and yes the girls are butt. That is why they use the term Doomer goggles....
-
Good coaches win more with less. Weiss at ND had less, but lost even more. He coached bad teams to bad records. Harbaugh does much more with even less than Weiss. That is the measure of a coach. Id take Harbough 100x over before I took Weiss.
-
Scott has been a playmaker ever since he signed with the team- I cant believe he was a street FA back when. Best LB on the team last week. What an improvment over Ellison. Still like to see Harris in there though.

Offensive Line Free Agents for 2010
High Mark replied to WVUFootball29's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We obviously need tackles the most, but what about guards. We could add a guard, leave Butler at T, and Wood can play centerif/when he comes back. Two of footballs top Gs will be hitting FA. Jahri Evans of the Saints is a great run blocker I guess (we need maulers) and its a great G, onyl 26. Logan Mankins form the Pats* is a great all around G, only 27 - two birds one stone. McNiel and one of those two would be nice. Does anyone have an update on Butler? How is his Knee coming? Will he be availibe next season? -
Offensive Line Free Agents for 2010

Correct me if I am wrong, but I seem to remember CHRIS KELSAY beating Trueblood many times in our matchup vrs the Bucs. If he cant block CHRIS KELSAY, who the f*ck can he block?
