  1. Oh, cool, thanks. If you sign up that have a "coaches film" section (which is what I was looking for). Price ain't too bad either.
  2. This might be a dumb question, but does anyone know if game film (not highlights, but the stuff the coaches and sportscasters watch afterwards) is floating around on the web anywhere? The post about Levitre "mauling" the Philly line got me curious and I wanted to check out some of the clips.
  3. As a Canisius grad, it's very VERY hard to root for him, but as a UB grad it's not. So I'll just try to forget his pre-UB days.
  4. Fred's a lock at this point. Unfortunately, as good as Fitz has been, QB is always a tough position. Hasselbeck and Schaub might give him a run for his money in the AFC (Brady's a given, though he doesn't always play). Luckily the AFC has fewer good QBs than the NFC. After yesterday's game, Wilson's got to be under consideration if his play continues at this level. Barnett's probably as close to a lock on D as we've got, partly from the fact that he is known from his time in GB and because he's among the league leaders in tackles. Someone from the secondary probably deserves to be there due to all the INTs, though to some extent some of that can be attributed to the pressure the line and the LBs have gotten on opposing QBs despite the lack of sacks. So who knows. If Stevie steps up his game a bit, he might work his way in, but at this point he's been too quiet in the last couple of weeks. Possibly an O-liner - at this point someone on the line deserves to be there considering they've given up the fewest sacks in the league and Jackson's run so well.
  5. Yeah, I'm a dissenter too. I actually thought they were pretty good. They at least corrected their mistakes.
  6. Fascinating. Plug one or two more holes on D, get the O consistent, and the Bills could be a force. It also explains why Jauron was soooooo bad.
  7. I'm guessing no one with the Bills has asked for an official explanation from the refs and/or NFL?
  8. How is it that Marvin Lewis has kept his job? He's had two winning seasons in 8 years.
  9. Let's face it. 'George Wilson' is a somewhat senatorial name (until Obama came along, national politicians have mostly had bland names, with a few exceptions - Millard Fillmore! ).
  10. Cool. Do you know George Ellis? I was just at a conference with him a few weeks ago.
  11. Yeah, amen to that. It's been a long time.
  12. I confess I was wrong. Even if they bomb the rest of the season, I was still wrong. Chan's the man.
  13. Yup. I totally did. This is almost like winning the Super Bowl - but not quite.
  14. Yep. I'm speechless. And I live in New England. I have my Bills shirt and I'm thinking about running around my neighborhood screaming.
  15. Well said. (My wife spent four years there. She uses the word "armpit" a lot when discussing it.)
  16. Woops. Yes, I meant Lawyer Milloy. And I just had a conversation about that with some Pats* fans.
  17. I see the Troy Vincent Lawyer Milloy (my brain is getting old) affair happening all over again (assuming Buddy's smart enough to sign DG - the dude knows the Pats* playbook so we'd be stupid not to pick him up, even if it's just for the week).
  18. Even if we don't we shouldn't drop that much (unless we get completely blown out). The Pats* are still the Pats*.
  19. For the record, anti-matter is just as smart as regular matter (opposite charge). Irvin, Faulk, and Smith have the IQ of empty space.
  20. Let's see. The only thing different, I think, was that my wife and kids left the house halfway through the game. Hmmm...
  21. He looked pretty solid. Definitely the best first round pick probably since Lee Evans (Lee was a first rounder, right?). What impressed me more was the open-field tackling by the D as a whole. That seemed like a HUGE improvement over last year.
  22. I looked it up and it wasn't as long ago as you'd think. But what is interesting is that they haven't won on the road on opening day since 1996. That just blew me away. It's a good sign, even if they can't hold up for the whole season.
