Dick LeBeau wouldn't be able to do anything better with the talent pool on this team. And what's worse is that Nix has heavily drafted on defense his first two drafts. Outside of Dareus and Moats, do you really believe any player can be a reliable starter in the NFL?

At this point, I wouldn't pencil in those two as wins either. Like Jauron said, it's hard to win in this league.

True. They know alot more than any of us about what he can and cannot due. I agree with Sully. Spiller's lack of productivity even in the face of Jackson's MVP type season may be ominous. Do we then point the finger at Modrak or Nix.

Classic case of a guy with all the physical tools which doesn't always translate into success on the field. This guy was the best CB coming out of college when he was drafted. Plus he praised for his returnability on punts and kickoffs. For me, I see a guy who always seems to be a half step behind in coverage and pumps himself up when making routine plays. Not a bad player, just not worth where he was drafted.

I remember when John Saunders reported the trade on ESPN. His reply and I quote, "You've got to wonder why a team like Buffalo would give up so many pics." Bennett was a key on defense for those superbowl teams. Still, I think he could have even been better if he took the game more seriously.

And their pass defense should improve greatly too. Seriously, how desperate is Miami if they're brining in Losman? ...and throw bounce passes to everyone else not running a deep fly pattern.

I hope Tebow goes on to have a solid NFL career...just so that the ever so annoying Merrill Hoge loses any of the remaining credibility he has left and "sean salisburys" himself out of an NFl analyst job.

Gailey is one heck of an offensive mind. How the Chief's fired this guy a couple of week before the season began two years ago is beyond me. And yes he took the job no one really wanted. Harbaugh, B. Schottenheimer, Gruden, and Cowher all declined interviews. I'm suprised Shanahan even interviewed.

I'll say this. Gailey can coach offense. Fun to watch and can move the ball. It just goes to show how incompetent and coma-inducing Fairchild, Schonert, and Van Pelt were.
