  1. Then went to the locker room to take a dump. In other news, Reggie Corner tied his shoelaces. Thanks for the update Chris Brown-noser.
  2. Wooh, for a second there I thought we had no chance of a pass rush for 2009.
  3. Same thing we hear from every NFL team early in camp. We're excited about the season...We're going to be more aggressive on both sides of the ball...We excited about our draft and free agent additions... Hot air. This team is going to be 7-9, 8-8, or at best 9-7 and NO playoffs. If it weren't for our O-line which is a mess, I'd actually may have bought some of the hype. Counting on 2 rookies who haven't even taken a preaseason snap is idiotic. Trading your best lineman in Peters and cut Dockery without knowing what you have, put this team out of the playoffs.
  4. She should try out for the Buffalo Jills.
  5. This is not even worthy of a debate. Hansen hands down. He was a terrific player both as a pass rusher and run stopper. Doctor Sack was a flash in the pan.
  6. We can agree Matt Ryan looks to be the real deal after one year in Atlanta. What does he have in common with JP Losman? Both were coached by meathead Mike Mularkey. The point is good players manifest themselves as such regardless of the "system" or "coaching." No one including Sam Wyche nor Jim Fossill is going to do anything for JP. He's a classic example of a guy who looks great in shorts and practice but once the game whistle blows, the guy is clueless.
  7. Him missing the superbowl was almost as freakish as that safety for the Falcons (?Eugene Robinson) that got arrested for prostitution before the superbowl in Miami. Atlanta didn't have a chance with all the distraction. Talk about thinking with the wrong head.
  8. The guy is a flop. And the huge disappointment that comes with that lies squarely on the backs of Donahoe and Modrak who wanted to show just how much smarter they were than the rest of the league when they drafted him #1 when he was projected as a 3rd rounder. Lord knows JP tried and never quit, and for that I respect his efforts. But the fact of the matter is he doesn't and never will have a feel for the game. He just doesn't have the ability to process plays as they develop. I grew so tired of watching him throw bounce passes to open receivers. All the guy could do was lock onto Lee Evans and heave the ball downfield and watch Lee run under it. I wish him well but he'll never be a starter or a legit reserve QB in the NFL that can be relied on.
  9. We feel like we had a great draft. We're going to be more aggressive on both sides of the ball. We really like our athleticism.
  10. McKelvin I predict is the next Derrick Burroughs. First round pick, great size, but always a half step behind in coverage. He's a long strider with a high center of gravity and will have difficulty covering shifty receivers. Just my opinion.
  11. Great point. A true waste of owner and taxpayer dollars. That thing Jerry Jones has built in Dallas is a travesty against humanity.
  12. Sure, when we get players better than Tom Brady, Randy Moss, Les Welker, Vince Wolfork, and Jerrod Mayo to name a few. That, and when we get a better coach than Bellichek and better owner than Robert Kraft.
  13. Yea, Parcells clearly doesn't know what he's doing.
  14. Looks like the Oct 30th/Nov 1 weekend is the best chance for a home team sweep. Thanks for the post PTR.
  15. Whitner? Come on already! The guy has played 3 seasons and clearly will never be a "playmaker." He's a great leader but an average safety. I'll go out on a limb and say Puz becomes a solid to good MLB. I like your choice of Trent Edwards who has lots of weapons finally. Problem is the O-line is probably going to be a disaster and he'll likely get hurt. The O-line (and smoking weed) is also going to hinder Marshawn Lynch who could otherwise have had a breakout year.
  16. That was an insane return. And awesome good job finding the link. Thanks.
  17. Signing Larry Tripplett, Robert Royal, Matt Bowens, and Touton Reyes Passing on Ngata for Whitner only to trade back into the 1st round and draft McCargo Re-signing Kelsay to that ridiculous contact Re-doing Schoebel's deal Marvin Fowler In Marv we trust.
  18. The man was so eccentric I figured he would die a mysterious death, something like disappearing over the Bermuda triangle. Say what you will about him as a person, he was a great entertainer. I actually felt sorry for him. He never had a normal childhood. He could never go in public without being mobbed. He almost seemed like a naive child in a man's body. Sad.
  19. It's been 25 years since I've lived in Buffalo, and I'm going to visit with my wife and 6 year old who have never been. What are the must sees for 1st time visitors? Here's what I've come up with: Niagara Falls Delaware Park Albright Knox Art Gallery Elmwood Strip Erie Basin Marina Art Park Buffalo Zoo Frank Lloyd Wright home near Buffalo Zoo Chocalate and vanilla twist from Andersons, and a pizza from Bocci Club. Is Parkside Candies still around? Botanical gardens- ? Don't remember if this is worthwhile. Old Navy Ship Museum- ? called U.S. Sullivan. Never have seen. Niagara on the Lake- ?. Never have been to but heard it's nice Erie Canal restoration site- ?. Heard this was restored recently but have never been Other comments or recommendations from TBD? Thanks everyone.
  20. No excuses? This offensive line may actually be worse than when Touton Reyes and Mike Williams played. There's going to be no holes for Lynch to run thru, and no time for Fitzpatrick to complete a pass after Edwards winds up in traction. That's a legit excuse for me.
  21. ...or Shawn Kemp plays QB for the Pats.
  22. It was only a matter of time before uniforms became a source of advertising and revenue. First it was the Nike swoosh in college. Now we're going to see Timex logos?
  23. He also said the same thing about Larry Tripplett, Craig Nall, and Touton Reyes.
  24. I don't know man. Jauron to me looks like he owns a Ford Taurus. And drank an O'douls at his bachelor party.
