  1. "Electronically" speaking I have become my parents...I don't know what the heck you are talking about. Sorry.
  2. Ultimate Buffalo QB- Jim Kelly's Passing Ability Joe Ferguson's Determination Doug Flutie's Mobility Trent Edwards' Brain Rob Johnson's Looks
  3. Cowher's going to Dallas next year after Wade Phillips gets canned.
  4. I'm still a Jauron backer. The guy is a leader and a teacher who played the game and whom the players respect and play hard for. The problem is the talent on the roster. This O-line is just horrible. After watching three preseason games, sorry to say Hangartner is no better than last year's starting center Duke Preston who is now a 3rd stringer in GB. Levitre couldn't carry Dockery's jock. That's a pretty good indicator of just how piss poor the talent is. And they draft an undersized DE in Maybin who's a project and not expected to contribute this year holdout aside. The only guys that are legit quality starters are Lee Evans, T Owens, M Lynch, M Stroud, A Schoebel (maybe but getting old), T McGhee, and maybe E Wood ( rookie). That's it...Billichek couldn't win with this pile of crap.
  5. Erik Wiliams aka Eric Flowers
  6. Trent Edwards...until he is injured and the season is turned over to Sam Bradford.
  7. Jason Peters
  8. This also was the guy who was impressed by JP Losman after visiting the Bills preseason camp two years ago.
  9. I loved it when McCarthy referred to the fact that he liked Preston's "athleticism" the day GB signed him. They must have read John Guy's scouting report.
  10. Yea, I know it was a meaningless 1st half of a preseason game. Nevertheless, here are my observations on the interior of the O-line which was basically all I was interested in watching: Wood: Wow. I now believe all the practice hype about this guy. He looked great. Great intensity, pushed guys into the turf, never quit. He's probably going to be our best lineman by the end of the season. Hangartner: Unimpressive. Trivial if at all "upgrade" over Fowler/Preston. Levitre: Abused. Consistently pushed into the backfield. I guess there's some truth to the short arms thing. I would not at all be suprised if Wood is moved back to center in 2010 where he played in college if Hangartner struggles this season.
  11. I agree. We hear the same crap all the time. I like our guys...we've had a good week of practice...there's a dedicated group of players in that locker room that want to get better and we will... Blah squared. I actually think watching paint dry may be more exciting than one of Jauron's press conferences.
  12. That was terrific. It's nice to get an objective report from someone other than Chris Brown-noser.
  13. His holdout is not a big deal IMO. Jauron and Fewell are both on record as saying he's going to be a situational pass rusher this year as they wait for him to fill out his lanky frame over the next couple of seasons. Basically he just has to pin his ears back and go after the QB on third downs. By the way, I didn't think a team that hasn't made the playoffs in nearly a decade had that luxury but what do I know. Wood and maybe Levitre will have a much bigger impact this year and they're in.
  14. The question becomes has Jauron or Cable dropped their pants?
  15. It's not a matter of athleticism or desire, it's simply a matter of size. He'll never be effective because he simply is just too small and gets pushed around at the point of attack. Hence he never makes any significant plays.
  16. I hope this guy brings his lunchpail, is just nasty, and wants to put the opposition in front of him into the dirt. He'll be revered in Buffalo if this is truly occurs.
  17. I think anyone from Buffalo would gladly accept a "tainted" Lombardi Trophy or Lord Stanley's Cup at this point.
  18. I agree. If Jauron thinks Wood and Levitre are good enough to start the first game of the season, let 'em play the first 2+ quarters. If they likely will not start, let them play from the 3rd offensive series on after Jauron jerks out the starters.
  19. The guy should have never been drafted in the 1st round. I love the "unmotivated" label to cover up for a guy with overvalued talent.
  20. That was just ill. I'll never forget how he taunted us in Buffalo after rushing for a first down for the Dolphins. All is forgiven though...he's my favorite player of all-time.
  21. Weren't we saying the same thing about bust to be James Hardy last year.
  22. Great. Now let's see if the guy can play guard in the NFL and be any better than Dockery.
  23. Alot will depend at what point Trent Edwards gets hurt behind our refurbished offensive line.
  24. Indiana Jones fan? "I hate snakes." I have to believe his dermatologist told him to wear a wid brimmed hat in the sun to prevent skin cancer. Those Yale guys are smart you know.
