  1. That word, I do not think it means what you think it means. LOL He seems like a simple, humble, down-to-earth guy.....but articulate!? No way in the world.
  2. 50% of posters to this board could step in be an adequate coach or GM in the NFL. It's not brain surgery out there. Said already, but I'll echo that Jim Kelly choked in all four SBs. OJ Simpson was the greatest Bill ever (on the field....LOL), and it's not even close.
  3. Well, let's hope they don't have another "Big Blue" accident like they did at Miller Park, in Milwaukee. Google it...the video is pretty awesome, and not in a good way.
  4. Not this time....
  5. LOL. MJD and Blackmon are their 2 best players. Blackmon is having a career day today...the guy is a beast, even though he does have the off-field problems.
  6. I like the moxie to go for it on fourth....the execution? That's another story! Lol
  7. Please elaborate on the fallacious take in bold above. So it's the punter's fault because the coverage team SUCKS!? And actually, on the one long return HE....Powell...made the TD-saving tackle.
  8. You ever fly somewhere (been to an airport)? What about all the dolts who wear flip-flops there? Sure would be fun (for them) in an emergency evacuation from the airplane. LOL
  9. Set the DVR on Sunday night (when I saw this thread) for 2pm today. Went to watch the game tonight and to my surprise the game that was recorded today at 2pm was the Patriots vs. Falcons. WTF NFL!?!?!? THAT GAME WAS A NATIONALLY-TELEVISED GAME ON AN OVER-THE-AIR NETWORK (NBC)!!! Why would ANYONE need it to be "replayed?" A$$ho*es!
  10. Care to reconsider? LOL
  11. Good post. Just saw the highlight reel. More like 10 yards short. Noodle arm, for sure. LOL
  12. "Just throw it up" seems to be their go-to play. Yes, it is very perplexing. Also, the receivers HAVE TO go beyond the sticks on 3rd down plays (the non-fades). Have to.
  13. Well, that escalated quickly. Lol
  14. Wait a minute, what does that say about ELI Manning today? LOL
  15. LOL. Yes it was, it was just WAY under thrown. The pass was thrown before it became clear that SJ was open. It was just thrown up for grabs, but should have been thrown deeper. Today, he's been overthrowing everything. Hopefully, he'll get better with time. It is what it is though.
  16. The fade is what won the game last week....although it helps if no one covers the WR! LOL
  17. The lower, field level camera angle surely shows the PI foul on Stevie, but the higher camera angle (normal game camera) shows the Panthers' coverage much better (the TWO safeties were right there behind him). As to whether SJ would have caught it, whether it would have been intercepted, whether it would have been incomplete, or whether the Bills would have had enough time (after a completion & tackle) to run up and spike it.....ALL of the latter is PURE SPECULATION. To say, as you do above, that SJ would have caught the ball, "no ifs", is just homer view/wishful thinking. And may I remind you of the Pittsburgh OT game a couple years ago. LOL
  18. Wow; the guy was only 45. May he RIP. Once again we are all reminded to live every day to the fullest, as the only guarantees in this life are death & taxes.
  19. Awesome pics! Thank you! Felt like I was right there...
  20. Have looked at this play CLOSELY now for the past couple of days, and my view is that the ball still could have been easily intercepted (as it was slightly overthrown, just like all the other long throws by EJ that day), OR it could have been caught by SJ, OR it could have been an incomplete pass. Yes, the TWO Carolina Panther safeties were right there in perfect position to make a play on the ball and/or make the tackle. It would definitely have been very close if the Bills had to get everybody 20 yards up the field for a clock-stopping spike, in 14 secs. Also, if you look closely at the tape, you might notice that Woods had his man beat badly on the right side of the field, and even Chandler was behind his man over on the left side of the field. BOTH of those receivers had only single coverage on them, and the safeties were in the middle. Just second guessing of course, but it appears that the "smarter" throw would have been to one of the outside receivers. Of course, it's ALL water under the bridge at this point....VERY happy it turned out like it did! That PI call is something the Bills very rarely get (in their favor) late in a game.
  21. He's gonna be on at 9am...at least that's what they're promoting right now on the channel.
  22. OK, looking at the video right now, and your take that SJ would have had an easy catch for a TD is a big MAYBE. From the tape, it looks like he would have been tackled IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FIELD, if he caught it, with about 15 seconds left. The Bills would have been lucky if they were able to run up and spike it for one more play. When the ball is picked, there are FOUR Panthers surrounding SJ, 2 in front (including Keuchly) and 2 safeties behind him. I hate to say this, but after being prodded to look at the video, it appears that both outside receivers (Chandler & Woods) were BEHIND their men, and Woods (on the right side) was wide open because the safeties were favoring the middle & the other side, and Woods had beat his man badly. That the one safety favored the side with Chandler running a fly pattern is very curious too. Like you said, go back & look at the tape. Also, Fred Jackson was the lone setback for all of the Bills' last 3 plays...the pass over the middle resulting in the PI call, EJ's scramble to the 2, and the final TD pass. CJ was NOT on the field for any of those 3 plays. One final note: FWIW, the Bills' formations on the PI play and the scramble by EJ were exactly the same.
  23. Was this after the END of the game, or just after the pre-game warm ups?
