  1. I laughed my a$$ off (at his stupidity). Typical millenial showboating moron. In the old days, his teammates probably would have given him a locker room beat down. Nowadays, they all probably just laughed about it too.
  2. I'm sort of right there with you, in that going forward I will not spend one thin dime on anything that will put $$$ into the NFL coffers, but I might tune in to a game every now & then just for some gratuitous violence. Lol The thing I really don't get is that all these overpaid prima-donnas taking knees, or staying in the locker rooms, or ignoring the anthem.....accomplishes exactly what? I'll tell you what....exactly NOTHING. UNLESS ALL of these morons....and I'm including ALL pro sports athletes who have jumped on the "I hate Trump/America is Racist" bandwagon........"protesting" the national anthem are out in their respective communities, donating money, and getting actively involved, then they're just hypocritical sheeple. PS - I can guarantee you that not ALL of them are out there doing what I just said. How about this? Any/All of these athletes disrespecting the flag/anthem voluntarily reduce their salary to $100,000, and anything above that they are owed by their owner, they donate to "good causes" in their communities like inner-city youth centers, schools, programs, etc? Sort of a "Put your money where your mouth is situation!" Ha ha...Yeah, I'm dreaming and it'll never happen. But it sure would put MILLIONS of dollars toward getting inner-city "oppressed" minorities out of a dark hole, huh?
  3. I see that the local contingent of Antifa/BLM members have ZERO replies to these two on-point messages. Color me not surprised. Liberalism is a debilitating mental disease.
  4. I actually LdOL at this. And it would be funny if they did cut him....probably would set a good precedent for others to keep their traps shut and just concentrate on being an outstanding player.
  5. Was on active duty in the USAF at the time, stationed at Griffiss AFB in Rome, NY. I had a SB party at my house (lived off base in a decent house), in my basement, with a bunch of coworkers. Obviously, I was in shock/denial for about a week afterwards. LOL I was livid that Thurman didn't get the MVP award, because he WAS the MVP of that game.
  6. Just took a quick look at it on my DVR, and you're right. Although I don't think that I've ever seen, in about 40+ years of watching football, a KICKOFF spin back toward the kicker (on a "normal", deep kickoff). Maybe it's happened...I guess. Hindsight is 20/20, but he should have let it bounce, then downed it.
  7. Agree with this 100%. I have said this in this forum many times before, and then some folks come along and tell me I'm crazy, and that these coaches are geniuses, and the "average Joe"....who has been watching the game for 30+ years.....has no idea how difficult it is to coach. Uh huh, right. After seeing Atlanta's last 2 drives last night, it's almost as if the coaches were trying to lose the game.
  8. Really?! Why don't other teams just study the film and use the same plays / schemes?
  9. LOL. I see what you did there.
  10. What I just learned from reading the story about the high tv ratings for the Pitt/KC game is that next year's Super Bowl is going to be played in Minneapolis. Didn't the NFL learn their lesson long ago of scheduling SBs in cold weather towns?
  11. Wait a minute, as a Bills fan, why don't you hate the Cowboys more than the Packers? I know I do, hands down.
  12. Agreed. I'd also like to say that Rodger's receivers yesterday made some phenomenal catches on throws that weren't "perfect". If you watched both games yesterday, contrast GB's receivers with KC's receivers. KC's receivers looked like they were eating Redenbacher Movie Theatre Butter popcorn on the sideline all night long. Go Falcons!
  13. Hold on now, let's give Hou a chance! They ARE professionals, right?
  14. Wow, that's harsh. Do you think that anybody there NOW feels that way? Let it go, man. Those responsible have been appropriately punished, and it's long past time to move on.
  15. Why is this thread still here when someone started a thread with the exact same topic 9 mins. before this one?
  16. Totally agree with the above. LOL
  17. Well, let's see how he does in more than one game. But....as I said in another thread, he had more accurate throws in this one game than Tyrod had all year.
  18. That freshman QB had more accurate throws in this one game than Tyrod had all year. True story.
  19. Tell me about it. Wait til you get to your mid-50s, and get a "funny" feeling in your chest! If I read too many dark "news" stories, i.e., stories about other peoples' deaths, I can convince myself that MY time to meet the Grim Reaper is right around the corner! Best thing to do is try and live each day to the fullest. That's all any of us can really do.
  20. So much this. If that segment of 30 for 30 didn't bring tears to your eyes, something ain't right in your emotional tank. RIP Bruce, from all accounts you were a hell of a man, and I know that you were a damn good ST coach.
  21. Yep, that's why they're firing RR, must have had that same expert advice 2 years ago. S/ Lol I'm constantly amazed at how many football fans think that football coaching/analyzing is akin to brain surgery or rocket science, and the "average Joe" would have no clue what to do. Sure, not everybody is going to be very well-versed in schemes, Xs & Os, and the like, but for those of us who have been closely watching for decades, it ain't brain surgery. IMO, there are posters here in this forum who certainly know as much as the idiot Rex. I learned years & years ago that the "most qualified" person for the job often does not get said job. And if you suffer through watching any of the myriad pre-game shows, with their "expert" analysts, you know exactly what I'm talking about, re "they're smarter than us because they played (or coached) the game."
  22. Didn't get to see the game, but after reading this thread, I'm glad I didn't. Sounds like just another case of the Bills getting screwed, and the NFL refs showing their inconsistent and/or incompetent calls (on Pass Interference calls). The latter, and the same inconsistency/buffoonery on holding calls have left me not really caring about the NFL for years. Maybe their TV ratings are down because more & more people are feeling like me, and thinking that the league....especially the officiating.....is a total joke.
  23. OK, I'm guessing NOW we can close/lock this thread, or are we still "mathematically" in it? LOL Sadly, this team will be lucky if they win another game this year. Yes, I know they play the Browns.
  24. Not able to watch the game on TV. WHAT IS GOING ON?
