  1. I am now fully convinced that most of the bad press TO has gotten over the years has been media-created. Thanks ESPN for showing me the light. Yea one of my buddies is a big Cowboy fan and he has been saying this for the past 3 years and more and more I was beginning to believe him. TO was a jerk in San Fran and a bigger jerk in Philly but he wasnt bad in Dallas. The Romo Witten thing only came up because of the lossing and that little tomato faced prick Jason Garrett (most over paid man in sports). This ESPN needing a story so they make one up about TO thing is gonna get real old real quick. I will be the first to jump all over him if he really does something but this crap that Greenberg said is just that...... we should kick his sister in the face!
  2. Mike and Mike this morning discussed T.O.s comments when he showed up to the volentary workouts. TO said that "I'm not the only guy to not show up to these things yet Im the only one the media picks at" (not an exact quote). Mike Greenberg said it rubbed him the wrong way because TO has spent so much time in his carreer seeking attention that he has no right to complain when he gets it. My complaint with Greenberg is twofold. 1. Why didnt you play the next sentance out of TOs mouth after the clip you played because he then said "but I understand it"!!! PLAY THE WHOLE CLIP ITS 2 FREAKING MINUTES! and 2. If your argument is that ESPN given TO this much attention for not showing up to volentary workouts because he has drawn so much attention to himself then where are the NFL Live discussions on Chad Johnson not showing to workouts? Where is the Mike and Mike talk about Chad Johnson not comming to volentary camp? Where are the endless ESPN.com articles on Ocho Cinco? The only mention he gets is "do we think he will be traded?" Why isnt he a cancer, a terrible teammate? And what freaking award for charitable work did Ocho win that caused him to miss some of camp?
  3. What I ment by the clogger comment was that when building a 34 D you dont NEED stud DEs. Obviously Bruce Smith is one of the exceptions to the rule but the idea behind the 34 D is that you have a huge Nose takle, tall big DEs that can take up blockers and play the run well, and your pass rush comes from you blitzing OLBs. The LBs make the 34 D where the DEs make the 43 D in terms of pass rush. Obviously it is great to have stud DEs in a 34 but its not necessary. 34 DEs are usually guys like Marcus Spears, Chris Canty, Brett Keisel, and so on. My point about Dorsey is that he just does not fit a 34 D. The comment earlier that stated that he would make a great 34 DE is just nuts. Hes fast for a DT but way to slow to be a pass rushing DE. And a big DE who is used pretty much to stuff the run is a waste of a top 5 pick if you ask me.
  4. Rotoworld has posted its latest mock draft and have the Chiefs taking B.J. Raji at #3 to play the nose in there new 34 D. This brings a couple of questions to my mind: 1. If this happened would they try Glen Dorsey at a 34 DE spot? And if so isnt that a waste of a top 5 pick? 34 ends are just cloggers and you dont ever take 34 ends that high. 2. Again if they make thsi pick (because many believe Dorsey is not a nose tackle, myself included) would they put Dorsey on the block? I know they drafted himlast year but that was the old regime and he does not fit the new D. 3. If they did put him on the block what would the Bills have to pay? He would be a great fit next to Stroud! What would you pay?
  5. I am trying to figure out a team that would want him? Philly needs a WR but I cant see McNabb wanting another diva WR. NYG need a WR but after Plax they cant want a headcase either. Oakland? Maybe but they spent so much on Walker last year only to have it blow up in there faces that I would think they would want to go with a rookie togrow witht hat fad lard Russel. San Fran? Ocho does not seem like a Sigiltary kinda guy. Chicago? They dont have the fire power to get a deal done. So where would he fit?
  6. So if you were offered Andre Smith and Lawrence Sidbury for Jason Peters you would jump on it? I think thats a terrible idea. You trade a proven LT for a rookie LT and a 3rd round DE prospect. If Philly wants Peters bad enough they would swing a deal that would give us both there firsts. How about Peters and a 3rd for both of Phillys 1sts. Some may say that is a ridiculous price but to me thats what a top tier LT should bring you. If you cant get that then jsut sign the guy.
  7. This idea has no source nor do I claim to have an INSIDE source but what do we think the bills would have to give to get Gonzo and Waters in a package deal? If it cost a 3rd and 4th would we do it? I know I would.
  8. yea rotoworld just reported it too..... ahhh well I guess its June or a rook
  9. Please tell me you do not have Tampas pair at 10!?! Michael Clayton is terrible. The pair in GB should be much higher. Jennings led the league in receptions for much of the season and driver though not young is still a big time threat. My list: 1. Arizona - Fitz and Boldin 2. New England - Welker and Moss 3. Buffalo - Owens and Evans 4. Indy - Wayne and Gonzalez 5. Houston - Walter and Johnson 6. Denver - Royal and Marshall 7 Pittsburgh - Ward and Holmes. 8. Cinci - Coles and Johnson 9. Green Bay - Driver and Jennings 10. Washington - Moss and Randle El 11. Carolina - Smith and Muhammad 13. Dallas - Williams and Crayton 13.San Diego - Jackson and Chambers 14. Seattle - Housh and Branch 15. New Orleans - Colston and Henderson 16. Atlanta - Jenkins and White 17. Tampa Bay - Bryant and Clayton 18. Kansas City - Bowe and Bradley 19. Baltimore - Clayton and Mason 20. Minnesota - Berrian and Wade 20.
  10. I live in ATlanta and I went to Home Depot to get a can of paint wearing a Bills hoodie and bills hat and some random dude walked by and said "TO baby!" I also have a bills flag haning from the front of my house and this is the first time my neighbors have ever said anything about it........... dare I say the Bills are finally relevent again?
  11. I just moved to Atlanta from Baltimore (originally from the b-lo) and Baltimore is a craphole and once it gets dark out its downright scary.
  12. i guess that my only concern with Holt is that he makes 6.5mil this year and then is a FA next. Does that mean we have to extend him or is it a one year thing?
  13. McKelvin may be a good choice since he will prolly be here at least until his rookie contract is up.
  14. Add me to the list of people who call Coles to Buffalo a dead deal
  15. It says Kansas City Star there buddy. Did you want me to let everyone know that it went through rotoworld too? The original author is the Kansas City Star
  16. If Waters was brought in for a 5th and Coles signed then I would chalk this offseason up as a somewhat sucess.
  17. Again people look at the system! Holliday is a 3-4 end which makes him a DT in our scheme and who really thinks that at this stage in his career hes a better start than Kyle Williams or Spencer Johnson...... By the way have we cut MaCargo yet?
  18. Chiefs coach Todd Haley refused to discuss G Brian Waters' release/trade request at a press conference Monday. "I’m in the business of trying to win football games," Haley said. "I’m still in the process of finding coaches. I don’t have a lot of time to worry about those things right now." Waters is KC's best interior offensive lineman. Source: Kansas City Star He didnt say thats hes on the block but this isnt the opposite either.
  19. Rumor has it that Tony Scheffler is available for trade from Denver. Hes a pass catching TE that may not cost us a ton of money. What do we think of a guy like this as long as its not going to cost more than say a 4th or 5th to get him?
  20. Didnt we have a thread like a month ago with new marketing slogans for Russ? I remember myself almost falling off my chair with laughter reading some of them.
  21. So has any teams been linked to Crowell yet? If there is little intrest and we can get him back at a reasonable price maybe with some incentives about staying healthy this may be a good option. I know things went sour with he and the Bills but if nobody else is willing to pay the guy why not right?
  22. WE ARE THE DETROIT LIONS. We are an inept organization that has not chance of getting better.
  23. Holy Crap thats why Losman has been so bad! Hes exhausted from playing for two teams at once!! It all makes sense now!
