I hate the idea of drafting a TE in the first round so what about making a realistic run at Bo Scaife? I only know a little bit about the guy because he was on my fantasy team but hes a very solid player who I do not think has fully reached his peak. He had 58 catches on a Titans team that was extremly run heavy. Is this a guy we want the Bills to target? Also please feel free to end each response with some kind of... BO KNOWS blank comment

I am all for paying and keeping guys..... they should have kept pay williams and antoine winfield....im just not all about paying guys who im not 100% sold on especially if hes going to want top 5 LT money. I would rather pay a guy like Gross who is a little bit more proven (i will admit not much) but has not been any type of team distraction. I just worry that the minuite we give Peters a big pay day he gets the Alexander Mogilny sindrome and stops working hard. Is that not a concern for anyone else?

I agree that Tasker is the greatest Special Teamer of all time. Its a little hypocritical when the talking heads at ESPN and NFL Network always say that speicial teams is just as important as O and D. Were you watching the same player this year that I was? Jason Peters was average at best this past season not to mention all the headaches he caused and the chemistry issues he caused on the OL this year. Jordan Gross is an outstanding player and to be 10 times less of a headache. If getting Gross was a realistic possiblity why wouldnt we move Peters? Your logic of equating Gross to Kyle Williams just makes you look like someone who doesnt watch any football outside of WNY.

Andre Reed is a Hall of Hamer for sure!!....... That being said he is not a first ballot HOF WR. Wide Reciever may be one of the hardest positions to get in on since there are so many of them........ He will get in just not right away

What would you guys think about this idea? Trade Peters for best offer whatever it may be..... hopefully a first and a late rounder if possible. Then to replace Peters use the money you would have given Peters to sign him up long term and instead give it to Jordan Gross. Think of it as a Peters for Gross a 1st rounder and a late rounder trade. Who wouldnt take that? Now I know that the following issues will come up 1. I wouldnt allow the fact that Bills put in an offer to get your hopes up that they will be a player in FA. The way I read into this is that the signing of this guy may generate a little bit more intrest about the team in Canada and if he were to suceed then they could market the team better in the annual Toronto game which as we all know was a complete disaster this year. If the Canadians could have a player that made his name in the CFL and then became a solid player for the Bills they may be more inclined to actually cheer for us in Toronto instead of cheering for the away team.

My first problem with this thread is that neither TE nor C are the biggest need on this team! We need a passrush!!!!!!! Oh yea and a coach, and a real GM. True TE would be nice but you do not have to have agreat TE to have a good offense. A center is needed I agree but a solid passrusher is 100 times more important.

So I am assuming that the long and the short of it is that nobody here has a link to that hit? That sucks because even though I too will forever have that hit burned into my memory I would still like to see it again.

Both are excellent and both are rare safties that offenses have to plan for. Both are frequently injured though. I will Troy since Reed is from THE U and I resent anyone who came from THE U.

I dont buy any argument for a system QB. I dont think that they exist. Isnt the point of the QB to execute the system he is in? So if its a good system the QB cant get any credit?

Thats an idiotic statement. Peyton has not missed a game. When have we ever seen Sorgi play? What maybe a quarter here and there when Peyton is pulled in a blowout? Does not diminish my argument.
