  1. -Stroud is practicing -Rhodes is there -Hardy catching passes on the sideline from the JUGGS machine All good to hear.
  2. Schobel's absence definitely hurt the team and contributed to the losses. But that's the way it goes.
  3. I knew you were delusional, but the capitalized part pretty much makes you certifiable. The Jags don't even have a following in their own city. To make the claim that they have a bigger following than the Bills is sheer lunacy. And the city will be powerless to stop the team from moving, just like every other city (who actually supported their team) couldn't stop their team from moving. But the difference is that a new team won't be arriving at a later date.
  4. Yes, he was throwing the ball around with Hardy.
  5. I swear, some people just talk to hear themselves speak. Nice job on the research there, Trent! Or whatever lackey fed you that BS for you to read on the teleprompter.
  6. Yeah, and that way, games will never be blacked out in the Jax area.
  7. TO had 39 receptions, 621 receiving yards, and 5 TD's in the last 8 games last year. And one of those games was with Brad Johnson starting. Those stats were greater than or equal to 50% of his season stats. So Trent Dilfer and Mark Schlereth can suck it!
  8. Smoke what joint?
  9. It was my understanding at the time of the new CBA, that a harsher personal conduct policy was going to be implemented, and the players agreed to it because of the generosity of the owners when it came to paying them more money. And this was more a vision that Goodell seized-upon and late NFLPA director Gene Upshaw shared. We'll see if DeMaurice Smith and the rest of the players shares the same vision, after the owners come calling for their 5% back.
  10. Check that, the players were on board. They agreed to it as a bargaining chip for getting 5% more in total revenue from the owners. Now that the owners will be demanding more money back from the players, don't look for the players to agree to continue a policy that takes more money from their pockets. And Goodell can take his legacy and...
  11. Yep. TO revealed that Dallas gave him a key to the city as well.[/thread]
  12. To think that missing 3 games will definitely teach Lynch a lesson, while a 1 game suspension won't, is funny. I'd even submit that a 1 game suspension won't really teach him anything, and he either got it or he didn't when he was nailed with a misdemeanor and given probation. And look for the personal conduct policy to die after this season, never to be seen again.
  13. If I may. If the money is fairly close, I think those things factor into the decision.
  14. Like calling Jeff Garcia gay. Whether he believes it or not, you don't reveal your feelings about it to the public. And it has nothing to do with anything. Calling out McNabb for choking in the SB, as well as other stuff designed to get him a new contract with the Eagles or get him cut.
  15. The only Tampa-2 teams looking for LB's are the Bills and Bears. Unfortunately the Bears have loads of cap space, more than the Bills. And probably a will to use it.
  16. While the media has created most of the alleged issues lately, TO has brought it on himself with his past antics.
  17. Good to know he was at least there.
  18. Stroud also wasn't there. And why wasn't Rhodes there?
  19. What has the Commish done to Marshall after screwing-up again? Nothing. Yeah, that's some consistency. And Jared Allen had his suspension reduced from 4 games to 2 at the beginning of 2007, and hasn't had a problem since. So that excuse (i.e. that it didn't work with Marshall and thus won't work for anyone) doesn't wash.
  20. Not happy about Youboty, but glad Bowen is back.
  21. Typical NFL owners' greed. "Pay us more than everyone else, but don't raise fees or put our channel into a different tier." Unreal, but not unexpected.
  22. You mean like believing Earth is flat and that the universe revolves around it? You'd think God would have known from the beginning.
  23. Yeah, I'd say replace the switch first.
  24. Try week 3, and maybe even week 2. Speaking of which, the Bills signing Rhodes destroyed whatever leverage FJ had with Lynch's suspension.
  25. Why, where do you live?
