  1. The Bills were so physical, they knocked the Colts' starting center, Jeff Saturday, out for 6 weeks, and longer if he needs surgery.
  2. Speaking of which, weren't the Bills projected to win 5 games last year?
  3. I agree that there's little downside for Parker. So what's the harm in sitting out at least a couple games, at least? And if Peters fires him, he'll say (to prospective clients) "Peters didn't stay the course." Again I hope I'm wrong, but if they've come this far...
  4. Why does Parker care? Peters was like found money. The worst thing that happens is Peters fires him. Parker isn't losing any money.
  5. The problem is that Parker has a reputation to uphold. I can easily holding Peters out just to not make himself look like a chump to prospective clients.
  6. Wow, they say the Bills (despite losing no one and adding some talented players) will win 1 game more than last year when they suffered a ton of injuries, and that's giving "love?"
  7. With replies like this: I'm shocked it all went South on you like that. WHEEW!
  8. I was going to say that the County should sue the brothers for the cost of the loss of the tiger. Not only to get another one, but lost revenue from it not being around. Seems only fair.
  9. I knew when the Bills drafted him that it was only a matter of time before he wormed his way to another team. You knew that coming from Florida, he just would never accept being in Buffalo. I'm sure Baltimore wasn't exactly his top choice, but to him they were better than Buffalo. And now he's doing the same song and dance he did in Buffalo, trying to get out of there. What does he care? They already gave him a huge deal. If he gets cut, he signs another deal and gets to keep his big bonus.
  10. A high 1st (top-10) at least. Failing that, 2-1st rounders.
  11. There's no hurry to trade him now. Ideally he comes to his senses. If not, you see what teams are willing to offer for him.
  12. Like I said in my other post, the Bills won't trade him anytime soon. Not when they can recoup their money from him for the next few years.
  13. Well he's got the genes. One GM said that the reason there were so few great TE's is because most of them are playing power forward in the NBA.
  14. Reminds me of Ricky Williams running for all those yards against the Bills...and the Bills still winning.
  15. It's a thought, but why? He's not costing a roster spot, and the Bills can recoup some money from him, while letting him twist in the wind.
  16. Peters isn't stupid enough to sit-out the whole season. If he doesn't report prior to the start of this season, he'll probably sit-out until week 10 to get that year's credit towards his contract. By that time, his fine of $430K plus the Bills going after $1.5M in signing bonus, plus probably not playing him (since he'd be useless to them) and thus not earning any playing bonuses, especially at LT, will end-up making him owe the Bills money. Then next season, there ain't NO way the Bills are giving him a big new deal. So the process will repeat itself over again. And then when 3 years have passed, the Bills will franchise him and trade him (and then have to worry about a hold-out from future-Pro Bowl LT Demetrius Bell ). Basically the Bills have Peters by the... The problem for him, as several have mentioned, is that his agent doesn't give a rat's Eugene Parker about him, and Peters is too dumb to figure out that sitting out is the worst thing he could do. But some people need to live and learn. The hard way.
  17. I've never heard of reporting it like that. Usually it's how many right out of the total (which I believe is 50 questions). Like any exam.
  18. I think everyone, though they didn't want to admit it at the time, thought it was a season-ending injury. It looked so painful, and to turn out to be a bruise? But I'll take it.
  19. In this link, it says 20/36 Wonderlic. I'm assuming 20 is what he got the first time and 36 the second. http://www.sportsline.com/nfl/players/draft/442266
  20. I'd more call it player saboteurs.
  21. Actually, Bruce is STILL holding-out for that highest-paid DE contract. He's Peters' hero.
  22. LOL! Harvey is hoping to avoid future holdouts by getting paid as the top DE in the NFL. He's just doing this for the benefit of the Jags.
  23. Both good things to hear. http://timesunion.com/AspStories/story.asp?storyID=715245
  24. Where's the surprise?
