  1. I know. Henne is. More than, say, trading your best/only Pro Bowl player?
  2. Colvin's injuries must have taken a toll on him.
  3. The difference is that the Phins inherited Beck. They chose to draft Henne and sign McCown and Pennington.
  4. I'd rather have a veteran who has started games backing-up than a rookie. But since you can only keep 3 of them, if you can get a draft pick for one, you do it.
  5. Week 10. He'll definitely report by then (to get credit for the season), otherwise the Bills have him under contract for another 3 years. The date to accrue a season passed on August 8th, i.e. 30 days before the start of the Bills' season. Since he already has 4 years in the league and is under contract for 3 more, it's moot unless the Bills cut him, which is unlikely.
  6. McKelvin. He won't be one of the top-3 CB's this year, so he can focus on returns.
  7. Glad to see that McCain has shown signs of senility BEFORE getting elected, unlike Reagan. I guess we could call this the "Harold and Maude" ticket. Or the "May-December" ticket. Or maybe the "Sugar Daddy" ticket?
  8. Your dad is banned.
  9. I disagree. I think they were going to cut Beck because he sucks but didn't find any takers for him, but since there was a taker for McCown, they decided to get something for another guy who sucks, and will try and develop Beck. McCown is what he is at this stage of his career.
  10. It was Bryant McKinnie. Ryan Denney is a good Mormon boy.
  11. "I'm not cheating on you, Tea. I'm a sex addict. I'm sick." Yeah, who isn't?
  12. Oops, forgot about Ellison. I think it's basically a battle between Costanza/Corto/Spragan for a LB spot and Jefferson and Bryan for a DE spot.
  13. I'm hardly spent. I don't see any player from another team who would make the roster over a guy who has been with the Bills and knows the system.
  14. Sounds good. Except Schouman is close to returning, so Massaquoi is likely out, unless they put Fine on IR, which is very possible.
  15. Why? Is there some rule that says I have to mention a player from another team to be able to participate in this thread? Sorry but I don't see McDougle as a guy who will do much in the league.
  16. That (Wright making the team, period) has about as much chance of happening as Matt Baker being named starting QB.
  17. Possibly, since they need DE help. But I don't see him as a Parcells type of player.
  18. He only starting playing organized football in 2005, in college. Most everyone else has been doing it since pee wee football.
  19. The past 5 years and the fact that he's been facing backups all throughout pre-season. Defensive ends rarely ever take 5 years to start to "get it." It's certainly within the realm of possibility, but as I said, I wouldn't cut any of the Bills' DE's to make room for him, and he can't be put on the PS.
  20. Bell only started playing football in 2005.
  21. Yeah, but he's been playing against backups. Throughout pre-season. He's done nothing so far in his career, can't be PS'd, and whose place at DE would he take? Certainly not Schobel, Kelsay, or Denney, and likely not Ellis either (for the same reason the Eagles won't cut rookie DE/OLB Bryan Smith either), and Sp. Johnson can play DE.
  22. Where do you get that McDougle has played great? He's been facing scrubs in pre-season and has just 2 sacks.
  23. "Castro Cowboy?"
  24. Dungy and Jauron are 2 of the classiest guys in the NFL.
  25. Why do you think they didn't post her picture?
