  1. Nothing has happened. Just been doing a lot of community stuff.
  2. 1st post -> tangent. I’d like to stay on topic. What I wrote applies equally to any person.
  3. I'd like to find a handful of people (3?) who are invested in this group that would like to be a moderator and who is supported by the group as a good choice. Feel free to nominate someone. Please refrain from jokes and nonsense. I'd like a serious effort to if anyone fits the bill. With the overriding point that this is first and foremost a Buffalo Bills community, here are some loose expectations: Watch for objectionable content. Promotion of violence, etc... Identify over-the-top posters who are here to disrupt and not engage in good faith discussion Note any other general concerns you may have If anyone is interested, and there may not, I think I'd like to try 1-year commitments and then review every year afterwards. Since this isn't season based, Jan 1st is a good time to touch base every year. Anyone willing to step forward now, would go to 12/31/2023. This would be a mostly thankless task, one that I haven't been up to myself for years. Perhaps having some new people lend a helping hand would be a benefit to all. If the choices are less than ideal, we will just keep it the way it is. No hard feelings if I pass on anyone in particular. With that said, is there a group of contributors that would be good in your eyes?
  4. "Prime (P) tailgate area spots (roughly 28 spots) held till 8am or General (G) Due to the High demand for this game we reserve the right to shut down General parking at any time. "
  5. You will be locked out if you get there at 9:30. Prime closes at 8am. Lot will be full probably sometime after 9am.
  6. Has anyone experienced (or think they experienced) a significant amount of missing posts since the latest update performed a few days ago? If so, please let me know and what symptoms you see that make you believe a chunk of your posts are missing. Thanks.
  7. I also have one. Christmas tree fell over last year and scratched my AR coating. 😡
  8. lol. This has been an existence from the day I started with the software which was somewhere around 16 years ago. THEY changed the interface and I wanted to make it look nice. and no, I don’t sit around reading every single post since 1998, probably almost 10,000,000 posts, and personally hand out rewards. 😂
  9. like talking to my wife. What do you want for dinner? Yes, please mow the lawn.
  10. that’s what the icons are for and is the subject of this post.
  11. thank you for your input. Please don’t kick your dog today.
  12. they can be anything, although I’m not going to create elaborate icons myself. I can make basic original ones.
  13. A recent upgrade changed the member ranking system (the rockets you see). Each level supports its own icon. What do you suggest for the different levels?
  14. New York City adds to the economy of the rest of the state to the tune of about $16 billion a year. The other stuff just isn’t worn out in reality. How does one build a hotel around the schedule of 10 events a year? The same with restaurants or any other amenity.
  15. This doesn't make any sense and is reminiscent about the Yogi Berra joke, "Nobody goes there anymore, it is too crowded." If the zoo concessions operated at maximum capacity from open to close, it doesn't matter how many people walk away. They don't have the ability to serve more people. It would make more sense if the figure of merit was concessions dollar/person or something like that.
  16. Is this data easily located? Please tell me you didn’t look up every game and the opposing quarterback.
  17. make it a great experience for the people who go and look for big changes in the cost curve as attendance increases. Cap attendance at the appropriate point in the cost curve.
  18. it sounds like that isn’t the reason at all, but a construction one.
  19. I think looking at construction breaks in the cost curve is an excellent way to do this. I wish I would have thought of this on my own.
  20. I would say the exact opposite. Why would we look at the high water mark and not something lower?
  21. I didn't read the story. If that's the case, then that is an excellent reason to downsize. Thanks for the head's up.
  22. The new standard should be 25k. Big ass TVs, access to feeds, and the game itself is a made for TV production that points to a drastically smaller footprint. Way too much money and resources are dedicated to a tiny live audience compared to the viewing audience at large.
