  1. Lol. Thanks. I'm an optical engineer who also uses SolidWorks. I'm also a computer guy. I can handle the discussion. I also have designed my own lenses in optical design software. And I'm an pro-am photographer.
  2. Whatever the perspective they are using isn't natural. The lower bowl isn't going to be flat on one side. Real estate photos are "accurate" too. Rooms don't look that way though.
  3. Yes, the idea that the rest of the world is both and lying and incompetent is the much better take.
  4. Does anyone why there isn't a 🤬 floating ring roof to cover the lower bowl and protect the expensive seats, while leaving the upper deck exposed? Surely the architects have seen the Jetsons.
  5. So, you live in a world where nothing changes? Or did Raccuia wake up one day and say, "I'm bored. I'm just gonna make ***** up today and make people mad."?
  6. I can’t imagine the marginal people at the stadiums affects readings numbers. 10k to 20k people are in the noise.
  7. going forward? It has been that way for about 20 years. At least since the Colts stadium was built.
  8. Jesus, Joseph, and Mary. It’s a goddamn drawing.
  9. People do not deserve to wade through a 77 page thread to find the beginning of where the renderings are.
  10. they have hired people who have done this before. We should assume that professional architects are going to get this right before believing a rendering.
  11. I would take the interior rending with a grain of salt. Look at the seats in the lower ball on the left side and how flat they look and then look at the seats on the right side in the lower bowl. It’s not really a great rendering that leads to the right perspective.
  12. If we take our cue from Miami, the rain off the roof should funnel down and drip right over the visitors bench.
  13. [This is an automated response] As a courtesy to the other board members, please use more descriptive topic titles. A single name if far too vague to post as a title and provides little insight into what specifically the post is talking about. The topic starter can edit the topic title line to make it more appropriate. Thank you.

  16. I didn’t look this up myself, I was told this yesterday by my neighbor who is from Pittsburgh. Apparently the Steelers are somewhere around 0–8 when TJ Watt is out. He was a beast last year in the opener and I’m not surprised to see them suffering without him.
  17. This is a topic that discusses a current issue. It’s the complete opposite of what you did. This is not a 20 year old topic that leads with “Tom Brady is going to be really good in the future and we should have a topic that discusses everything about Tom Brady right here for all of eternity“. Now go outside and touch some grass.
