11/20/2025 Bills @ Texans post game thread

Allen got pressured 28 times in this game. I'm surprised he's alive. Hard to criticize a guy for not dying -

That is the repeated refrain of the seam McDermott era. Utterly physically dominated constantly on a weekly basis. I'm tired of it -
Division is out at this point…have to do it as a wildcard

Have to do what as a wildcard? -
It’s not closed because Allen is still great but it’s clear an obvious that he’s not comfortable in Joe Brady’s offense. Joe gotta go for sure. And there needs to be a trade for a WR1. Kincaid also has to stay off the damn injury list. Right now Josh has zero faith in his WRs to win on the outside

Yes. I will always enjoy watching the Bills play. It is my favorite thing to watch, even during the lean years. I think that being stationed so far away from home for so long (21 years now), they are a very real connection for me. A sense of pride of where I came from. Go beat the Steelers and things will feel better again.

He also sounded like a guy with major penis envy the way he was gushing about how Houston's Defense played -

8 sacks of Josh Allen. that's a stat I will not soon forget and that 4th and 1 mensa play call to Cook 5 yards behind the LOS unbelievable. -

Do what, precisely? Do you truly believe this team has anything resembling a shot at a championship? -

While I agree with the many flaws this team has and blame in rank order Beane, McD (because he keeps trusting Brady although highly predictable), and Brady for obvious reasons. Our WRs don’t get open, Allen is getting killed out there, and we’ll be lucky to win on wildcard weekend. This is not a championship caliber team. Not even close. I’m guessing we’ll probably go 11-6, win maybe wildcard weekend, and then out in the division game. Where’s Daboll when you need him. -
Brady and McD....turn in your hats...

In fairness to Allen, the Oline's play was brutal, and it closes out with another FS by Dawkins at a critical point, then another heavy pressure on Allen (OPI would have negated anything we would have done). Knox was wide open and yet Allen didn't see him....anyway, all for nought

I'm slowly warming up to this.... but who would they bring in that is an improvement? I don't like change for the sake of change, they have to upgrade. -
Hey you arent supposed to post things like this you can only enjoy the ride.
-
CORRECT. This won't be popular, so you know. But I think the window to win one with Allen is closed, locked and has bars on the outside like Compton. So, the question is what do we as a franchise? My Idea isn't a popular one either
-
fireable offense. absolutely brutal play call right there. Idiotic. Bye Joe SMH
-
When you’re paying a QB $300M you expect him to get it done no matter who’s out there. Now he has an All Pro RB. These are the same group of guys he won the MVP with just a year ago. Calling a spade a spade Josh just hasn’t been good this year. He’s had moments of greatness. But he’s taking more sacks and he’s turning the ball over, something he wasn’t doing last year. Joe Brady hasn’t been good either. He struggles adjusting in game. I mean how many times are you going to empty when the edges from the Texans are constantly beating our tackles? 10 possessions we had in this game and we only had 1 TD? With supposedly the best QB in the league?

That's never going to happen, this is my whole point. Allen costs WAY too much and Maye and the Patriots are way too good and way too cheap. Bills fans hate to admit reality, but THAT is the reality. With Allen under center, we're now in a new, more insidious kind of purgatory: Good enough to sneak into the playoffs, not good enough to win a championship, but good enough to never draft elite talent. Idk what's worse, the drought or this. At least during the drought you outright knew they sucked most years. -
the Bills should fire him. I am done thinking he is good enough. He is Not. BYE JOE I really hope they do.

Coming off of last seasons result and then the release of a gift of a schedule had me truly excited for this season but now that a Super Bowl run seems almost impossible I’m now just eh maybe next year -

Knox was wide open on the final play and right in Josh’s view. He chose Palmer instead and got picked. Likely Josh being jumpy because of all the hits he took all game but still, not anyone around Knox for ten yards. -
Forget Brady. I want them ALL gone. From the head coach down to the third string fullback. Nuke the whole franchise, salt the earth and move on
