Being the clueless dufus that I am I had no idea what/where to go at a wedding ceremony. I found the rehearsal to be quite useful. 🤷♂️ -

so she's defiant towards a monsignor how nice I certainly would have listened to him since we brought him -
When you're drafting in the top 10 every season for 15 straight years, then yeah, your minor league hockey team is probably going to be good.

The Cowboys, Overexposed? Maybe. Overrated? .... You Decide

Agreed. Tampa Bay got a SB in this last decade so their fans are happier, but literally pre Brady they did not matter in the league universe whereas Dallas over the same time span was a pretty solid consistent team. They seem to be a team that drafts pretty well and at times adds talent although it is questionable some moves they make. It is the last part of the boring time of football so it was an interesting case study when you compare the teams around them in playoff appearances. Seattle is the closest comparable and I think Dallas has been a more competitive team over the last decade then Seattle. -
Takes like this are why the democrats will not gain power in 2026 and 2028. You have a lot of bitterness in you and the more rational 80 percent of society is sick of extreme hatred like yours. The only difference between people like you and Mohamed Soliman is the ability to gain access to a flamethrower. Get help.

Who was invited to Josh and Hailee's wedding?

At my rehearsal, the 'Monsignor' was an old school priest who had been the head of my wife's parrish forever and was treated like the Pope by all the parishoners - nobody ever dared question anything he did (I always thought he was an a-hole but kept the opinion mostly to myself). At the rehearsal there was a point in the Mass where my wife wanted us to turn to the congregation and he forbade it - saying God was present on the alter or something and my wife defiantly said "God is everywhere!" making a grandiose sweeping gesture. There was immediate tension - and he responded with something patronizing which riled my wife up even more. I was prepared for my 'temporarily insane, high-strung sociopathic' wife to throw down. The next day, of course my wife made sure that we turned to the congegation at that point during the actual Mass 😛 -

Based on things said by some teammates, it sounds like the injury was a lot more limiting than what they let on. I think some even said they were quite surprised he was even able to finish the season. I'd assume that impacted game planning to a degree. There may have been certain routes they didn't bother to dial up for him just because he wasn't able to run them as he usually would. They definitely have stuff in the playbook for him and Knox. Second half of the season it seemed like Knox got open on a down field crosser for 25-35 yards like once a game. While it was nice to see Knox getting those looks, it made me wonder if those plays are usually for Kincaid. The dude has talent and yeah I'm just gonna assume the injury really slowed him down this year. Dude set the Bills rookie record for receptions in '23, I don't think he's just gonna fade into oblivion after a bit of a sophomore slump. That said.... I rrrrreally wish he would've caught that ball at the end of the KC game. Yeah it was off target but Josh was lucky to even get that ball to him, dude was running for his life as soon as he got the ball. Bah! -

The Cowboys seem to think that by drafting pretty good players and then paying them elite money, will entice the gods of football to transform those players into elite superstars. It doesn't work. Also the Cowboys seem to think the way to win is to have as many stars as possible, regardless of the holes that leaves in other areas of the roster. Finally there doesn't seem to be any long-range planning, something Beane is very good at doing, so every year there's uncertainty and drama about who's gonna show up. Don't get me wrong, I hate the Cowboys, and if they want to continue shooting themselves in the foot, that's fine with me. -

Exactly....why are we celebrating a stat(s) that translates to nothing in the playoffs? Everyone knows we dominate the regular season. But we still can't close out tight playoff games against Cincy or KC. Until we find a way to cross this threshold, our ultimate finish will be predictable every year.

Obviously a SB should always be the END GOAL, but it's still okay to be proud of your teams regular season success. Buffalo clinching their 5th straight division title was an important highlight for me. Also, beating the Ravens in the playoffs where I truthfully felt we had no chance was another great moment. My point is fielding a competitive team is better than being a perennial bottom feeder. Everybody hates the Cowboys, but I would've killed to have their roster during our drought years. Parsons, CeeDee Lamb, Zack Martin, CB's Bland/Diggs, and Tyron Smith are all cornerstones at important positions. I didn't include Dak because I think he is a product of the talent & system, but Jerry Jones is too in love w/ him. I don't think they will ever take that next step until they upgrade QB, but I think their goal is to win a ton of regular season games, fill seats while simultaneously hoping the planets align and they can get hot during the playoffs.

Torrence is not a pending free agent. He's under contract for $1.6M in 2026. If Torrence elevated his game dramatically and the Bills decided to pay him early, it would be at a discount compared to the unrestricted free agent market rate and the aav diluted by the fact that he's under contract for 2026. By contrast, Epenesa has unrestricted free agency next March. He is coming off a so-so season sorta' like Josh Sweat had in 2023. Then Josh Sweat had a better 2024, culminating with a big performance in the SB, and got 4 years $77M from AZ in UFA. That was with an 8 sack season preceded by a 6.5 sack season.
