Tick ... tick ... tick. Was that 6 p.m. EDT or EST, Tim?

They have until 6 to make the cuts, but are under no deadline to announce them.

Of the four teams I cover, the Jets are the only ones to have announced the moves.

And they did it at 4 p.m. and put Rex Ryan on a conference call at 4:30 p.m.

Yes, I liked that.

just got an e-mail from our AP man in Boston, Jimmy Golen, who figures the Pats might wait til 8 -- not sure if he meant p.m. or a.m.

Jauron is thinking about it...once he is done thinking about the cuts, he will have thought of them and therefore may release a list of cuts...but only after Ralphie takes his Ford Taurus across ECC South and tears up the lawns.

They had a good week of practicing the cuts. It just didn't translate to cut day.

Of the four teams I cover, the only one to have announced so far is New York.

Better be careful Tim. Crayonz will come in spouting his Sarbanes-Oxley blather.

Probably so they have an extra two hours to review everyone else's cuts and see if there's anybody they want off waivers before they make theirs.

The Pats just announced their cuts! A defensive guy, two players who block and guy who kicks.

Remember that Bowen and Stupar both have PS eligibility. Mace and Gaddis probably make it there too. Agreed re: Chambers. That's the head-scratcher to me.

And regnal will be heartbroken about Etukeren.

Dick Jauron is a moron. :worthy:

The one player who really stood out on offense through the preseason on the playing field, "Jonathan Stupar" and we cut him

They still need to make a few more cuts, right ?

no, that's 53, plus Hardy and Lynch.

sorry couldn't come back with a list as I had to write.

i expect Stupar, in particular, to get some attention from other teams, with the Bills likely hoping they can practice squad him. ... i think Cary Harris is also a practice squad candidate. Bowen was a slight surprise, but not really because the Bills were high on Palmer. And Bowen is eligible for practice squad.

and i think at least one poster might be disappointed with Etukeren not making the team ahead of Maybin. ... :worthy:
