That's the trip I want to take right there. What are the good hotels around the arena? And FWIW...the winter classic will be Boston vs Philly at Fenway. And FWIW...the winter classic will be Boston vs Philly at Fenway. There is a Drury Inn a few blocks from the arena. I stay at them occasionally and never have complaints. There is also a Hampton and I think a Courtyard Marriot just a block or two away. There's also a Crowne Plaza and the Hyatt within walking distance. The Drury is slightly farther away but would prob be the cheapest. Getting away from the "walking distance" hotels, there is a newly revovated Holiday Inn that has reasonable rates. A few of my friends came to the Tank the last time the Sabres played there. It was almost a neutral crowd. Being a Sharks fan that was a tough game to take since the Sabres routed the Sharks 7-1. It was almost a neutral crowd. Being a Sharks fan that was a tough game to take since the Sabres routed the Sharks 7-1. Still it was fun. You still had fun before and after the game, didn't you? Have gont to the last 2 Leaf visits in San Jose and it was the same thing as far as the crowd. Had a couple of beer drinking Leaf fans (what other kind are there?)sitting beside us couple years ago.
