I do not know what to make of this.

Do the Bills need a legit #2 WR? Yes

Is Jauron under pressure. YES!

Does he know it? Maybe.

Is TO a BIG change from any other Bills signing you could name. Oh yeh.

Gotta say, it interesting but since he is legitimately crazy (I mean, the guy seriously needs to be on MEDS and be seeing a counselor) , I can't see this attempt helping except in the short term...very short term.

I'd be very happy about Owens joining the team... He has more passion for the game than I've seen in Buffalo in 10+ years. He is a one to two year stopgap for the developement of Hardy and as I see it right now, the absolute best free agent player available. I am also renewing my tickets regardless... haha! It is the perfect situation for Owens. He comes to a small market to prove he plays for the love of the game. He has a positive influence on the team, legitimizes their offense and Trent makes his first ProBowl. In interviews he talks about how he came to Buffalo to help hall of fame owner which it is an honor to play for, win his first superbowl championship. Bills make playoffs for first time in decade, make an incredible super bowl run, Terrell Owens rides off into the sunset as a first ballot hall of famer.... Its the perfect place for Terrell Owens to change his image. NO DOUBT

You know, if you flap your arms hard enough when jumping off a building, you can actually fly

Lot more realistic than TO growing up. People thought he was finally gonna grow up when he went to Dallas....now they're stuck with him counting over $9M against the cap after cutting him. Yeah, he really grew up

Who the hell is Sal Capaccio?

I have never heard of him either but I said, "what the hell..here's the link"

As to an earlier poster's comment about (paraphrasing), " TO ending his career in a small town proving his true love of the game", it's strange you should say that since my wife and I sadly agreed that being in Buffalo unlike any other city could actually "save" TO - it's a place where people care about real things and each other. The sort of things that bored the hell of of McGahee. If I signed TO his contract would be filled with incentives not only about staying out of trouble but also with bonuses for community work and "bettering" himself (such as seeing a counselor)

It's like someone being incredibly beautiful and actually developing a good personality. The two together are rare. TO is a gifted athlete and a totally sick individual (mentally). oh well,......

There is no way....let me repeat that...NO WAY...Buffalo is interested in TO.

I admit, I don't have contacts with the Bills or the NFL. I also don't host a website and TV show from my garage. That being said, I think this "source" is either made up or part of Rosenhaus' plan to start a possible bidding war for TO. And even though I love Florio's PFT site, I think his sources (the first was a link to the same one we are reading here, and his second a "coorboration" that Buffalo is interested - probably from Rosenhaus or his people) are part of the same game.

Buffalo will not...let me repeat that... WILL NOT...sign TO. Moreover, TO would have no interested in playing a) for a last place team, and b) for an unproven QB.

I think this is all a big scam. Buyers beware.

Whatever... The bills have had 12 other FA's in for a "talk" and how many of them have signed?

Who the hell is Sal Capaccio?

Sal's a good guy, I don't think he's a member here though.

He a few sources within the Bills, but he doesn't just throw out rumors for the sake of rumor. If he puts out info, he's at least talked with someone at OBD.

I think he drives a Honda Accord though, so take what he says with a grain of salt.

I can't make up my mind about T.O. I most certainly think this won't happen, but if it did, I really wouldn't care all that much about the antics. This team has been so stale for a long time This would drum up some excitement, national media attention, etc. It would spice things up a bit. If he played well, Buffalo would embrace him and it could save his career. Also, more importantly, even though he has had some drops, he is a very good WR, and it would FINALLY, take the pressure off of Lee.I think Lee would have a HUGE year. You would have to account for both of them all the time. That would free up Josh, Roscoe, Johnson and Hardy too. He could hurt our team in many ways, but I've been so sick of how things have turned out recently that I don't care anymore
