Agreed on the fact that House Ballard HAS to be on this team.

Seems like most of the players I'd put on the team have either been in the first post or the replies. Two I'd mention would be Reggie McKenzie and fullback Cookie Gilchrist. No way at all if we are only considering football that we could ignore OJ Simpson.

Coverage teams are not considered "offensive" in regard to special teams. Are you saying he'd be your return guy?

They (the Bills) actually have only one special team player (outside of kicker & punter) available to be chosen. If you look at the defensive choices there isn't a ST category so if you're wanting to vote for Tasker this is your only chance.

I didn't see a spot for punter - did I miss it? As for OL I didn't think Wolford or Ballard had the longevity to be on this list.

Yeah, punter was there standing next to the kicker.

Moulds over Butler? For O-line I had Wolford (hated to make that pick) over Richter.

Punters are considered defensive, not offensive.

What for? Why don't we just put the All 1990s Bills team out there and call it a day? Seems like things are headed in that direction anyway.

because if youd bother to even go and look at the site youd understand why these picks are being made instead of makeing urself look ignorant

Now why'd you go and get all nasty for? Don't you understand the way the world works? Don't you understand how to go about things the right way? Don't you know that you don't tug on Super Man's cape? You don't spit into the wind? You don't pull the mask off the ol' Lone Ranger?

15 - Jack Kemp - Quarterback (Jim Kelly was a great QB. Jack Kemp was a champion)

2 - Steve Christie - Kicker (the guy I want out there with the game on the line)

8 - Brian Moorman - Punter (very close between him and McGuire)

32 - OJ Simpson - Running Back (personal feelings aside, you gotta have him on the team)

80 - Eric Moulds - Wide Receiver (would be a hall of famer if he ever played with a real QB)

44 - Elbert Dubenion - Wide Receiver

83 - Andre Reed - Wide Receiver

84 - Ernie Warlick - Tight End

68 - Joe DeLamielleure - Offensive Line

67 - Kent Hull - Offensive Line

64/77 - Stew Barber - Offensive Line

66 - Billy Shaw - Offensive Line

75 - Harold Ballard - Offensive Line

89 - Steve Tasker - Special Teams

I know it's looking like a run oriented team, but with all respect to the K-Gun, that's what football in Buffalo is all about. In fact, lets take out Eric Moulds and add Cookie Gilchrist. What's with this 3 WR stuff?

Moulds over Butler?

That was my final elimination pick. Had Butler's career not been cut short by injuries I'd probably rate him above Moulds, but Moulds lasted longer and was much more prolific. Moulds also averaged 1000 yds/season in his first 2 years as a kickoff returner. And I felt like the post-Super Bowl era needed at least 1 representative on the all-time team...

Yeah, you have to.

TT was a great back, for sure. Simpson was a big back that floated and moved and was as elusive as if he was 180 lbs., and then bowled over tacklers when they got to him.

He was "lights out" in his early KR duty. He averaged 30 yards back in the old days of ko's from the 40, and had a 10.6 yd ave pass yards number.

IMO, he was the best physical RB specimen since Jim Brown, with Hershel Walker next in line.

Which site are you referring to? I saw no link in any post to a "site". All I saw were the different "teams" shown.

youd understand why these picks are being made instead of makeing urself look ignorant

Uh huh.

we have 2 pages worth of posts without a single link. Not common posting etiquette demands that you post a link if you are referring to something. This avoids the "go to the site" comments while an unmotivated poster probably wouldn't give a rat's ass to look for said poll on bb.com.

I would rather see a 53 man Roster. For those of us that saw them Play Oj, and Gilchrist cannot be ignored. Neither could Pete Gogolak - who revolutionized FG kicking you could make some strong arguments for Ken jones and Paul Costa on the O line. Dubenion and Butler at WR.
