Huuuge Bills
This 10 minute format is great. Makes the draft much more exciting and doesn't seem to be inhibitting teams' ability to trade at all which was a fear the new process would impose  Agree, it's alot more fun this way. LABills08
My worry is that when the WR's start coming off, they are going to come off fast.
/dev/null
So does the draft just skip from #30 to #32? Or at #31 does Goodell get up to the podium and say the Patriots* have forefeited this pick due to cheating  Bah, no skip. Giants are #31  I so wanted to see Goodell walk up to the podium at #31 and announce the Patriots* lost the pick due to cheating
Sisyphean Bills
Thay got Mayo. Remember. So f-ing what? Is he going to fill all 4 starting positions?
truth on hold
OK.....in my opinion If the bills stay put and come away with D. Thomas, Limus Sweed, or James Hardy with their 2nd then they are genious  If we dont and they are all off the board then we screwed up  but I am loving the draft so far i dont like Keller a Jet. if anything he would have been perfect target for Edwards
sven233
Giants pick is in...... Â They Take.... Â Kenny Phillips
TJdaSportsGuy
i dont understand all the clamoring to move up when there are 3 guys that are all close in skill level. too early to move up. Â My thoughts exactly...no sense in giving up a much needed pick for a guy who probably won't be much better than one they'd have available at their spot in the 2nd round. sven233
Miami could take a WR here, but with Parcells in charge, I can see D-Line or LB here as well.
LABills08
That is a good pick. Still leaves a lot of good players on the board going into the 2nd round. I hope we snap up Thomas. I think its worth taking the number 15 ranked player overall and the top WR.
TJdaSportsGuy
I so wanted to see Goodell walk up to the podium at #31 and announce the Patriots* lost the pick due to cheating That would've been...CLASSIC!!

VABills
Miami is going to take a wideout Not if Taylor is truly gone. They have to go for Merling.
/dev/null
With the Giants selecting Safety at the end if the 1st, WR joins the ranks of Center, Fullback, Kicker, and Punter as the only positions not selected in the 1st...

Sisyphean Bills
You trade up if there is a huge drop between the next two guys at the position. It should be pretty obvious at this point that none of the WRs graded out that high above the others.
TJdaSportsGuy
I have a feeling Thomas will be the only receiver gone when we pick....and we'll select a C, LB or TE or something LOL Â That not the LEAST bit funny...
truth on hold
i dont see parcells taking WR here. he still has Ginn to work on. either a QB (although I think Beck deserves another year) or a trenches guy on O or D line. parcells wont go skill now unless its QB

silvermike
Merling's a good player, but Brian Brohm is a great prospect, way better than the set of Lemons that they have down there. John Beck really had better be something special, now that they've passed on Quinn, Ryan, Brohm, and Henne for him.
