What do you think the Bills "War Room" is like?

Recommended Posts

Who will be there? How big is the room? What do they eat? Is there a red phone on the table that rings when someone wants to trade? How bad do you think it smells at the end of the day? Is the bathroom adjacent to the war room or down the hall? Are the watching the draft on ESPN or do they have a different feed? Does anybody know anything???

About 6-8 guys looking at Modrak asking him "who should we pick now, Tom?".

95% of the work is done already, so it isn't as crazy as you might think. If the team is lead by confident, decisive people....you just have to trust in your valuations and let many of the chips fall where they may. In reality, only 10 % or so of the picks are traded throughout. I think a case where it gets exciting is when you think you are going to get a giant steal, and not when you chase someone by trading up or taking a guy that you know is early. There is no fun in chasing for an evaluator, but sometimes you just have a pressing need that you can't chance screwing up.

There was an article last year about the thoughts of everyone as Edwards kept dropping to them. That is as good as it gets if you have all the slots above a guy empty, and about 15 in a row after him empty with others scattered around. That's when you either make a move, or pray and get that "buzz" as he comes to you.

That picture of the 5 old people definitely is the winner. Hilarious stuff. Also, fantastic rettatta reference, Im glad that people won't let that die. Honestly, who doesn't think noodles and pickle juice are like peas and carrots? Plus, it takes an hour. thats enough time to do a double workout session on the bowflex home gym (according to the commercial).
