In 1992, the first year in which the poll was conducted, 46 percent of drinkers said they opted for a beer, compared with just 27 percent who preferred a chilled glass of wine. French wines are about the only thing good I can come up with for them, cognac and champagne as well. Of course I drink more vodka and scotch than wine, so what do I know. Cool, not cold. Please. You should be able to get a nice one in Temecula. Try Baily or one of the other locals down there.
