Bills would have the tiebreaker assuming we don’t blow a winnable game vs the jets and very likely would win the division even if they lose to Philly

That’s possible. Pats really looked shaky in that 2nd half. They could have a few letdown games.

Here’s a question I have for the people who really dig into scenarios:

We win out

Pats lose to dolphins or jets

broncos go 1-2 (lost to all AFC teams)

Jags go 3-0

Chargers go 3-0

if this all happens then Jags, Chargers and Bills all will be 13-4 with the the same conference record (2 losses to AFC teams and 2 losses to NFC teams)

Who gets the 1 seed?

I’d have to dig deeper on jags vs chargers but they’d be 1-2 seeds and bills would be 3 based on conference record I believe

Denver plays both jags and chargers so I think that scenario is possible haha

Wouldn’t we all have the same conference record? We both lost twice to NFC teams and twice to AFC teams

Bills are likely not winning the division let alone the 1 seed.

get ready for road games.

At least the Bills have now shown they can win road games (Pitt and NE). Their offensive communication at the LOS in the 2nd half today was impressive...

Good call! So only way we get 1 seed in that scenario is if chargers and jags go 2-1

Yep…it gets a little weird cuz Denver plays both the other teams.  Not sure if that’s good for us or bad for us lol wonder where the jags chargers tiebreaker ends up I’m gonna try to look

I think we want the jags and chargers to beat the broncos and then hopefully Rivers has some juice in him to beat the jags and one of the Texas teams take down the chargers

I think they looked gassed in the 4th.

It doesn’t make sense because in those 2 scenarios they go 2-1…

so if broncos go 1-2 and have the same record as us does that mean we hold the tiebreaker no matter what?

I see what you’re saying now. Good catch, I edited it.

Go Bills!
