Blackbeard Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Not worried. Coaches will make him practice a little hands stuff this week. He'll get it together. Quote

transient Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I make be wrong, but on the replay I don’t think it was a clean exchange on the second fumble, either. It looks like it took a second to get it secured. Don’t know how much that played into it. 1 1 Quote

Please. I mean, he's traditionally had issues with putting the ball on the turf. Last year was an anomaly and he looks to have regressed to the means this year. What's different to me, in the past when he would have a run of fumbles he would get benched for a bit. That's no longer the case. Yesterday not only was he not benched, he immediately saw the ball come his way including more goal line opportunities. Even with the fumbles the good far outweighs the bad. Quote

He took a second to gather it in: probably should have gone to the ground for no gain and lived to fight another down. Quote
BlazinBill Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago His carries are up a lot- late season fatigue is setting in- he will overcome , adjust and adapt without being benched Quote

Please. I think it will be fine. He fumbled once last season, McD benched him and he didn't do it again. It will be a concentration thing. He's having a probowl year and is perhaps getting carried away. He knows how to protect the ball. He just needs a bit of a telling off I reckon. Quote
Rousseauisnoschmo Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago He'll be fine. He went forever without fumbling. I have faith he'll get this fixed. Quote
extrahammer Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago He was pretty remorseful and upset on the sidelines about it. I think he'll figure it out and fix it. One was from him reaching for the first down or touchdown, it's hard to fault him for knowing where the 1st down marker was, but something clean up. Quote
MikePJ76 Posted 59 minutes ago Posted 59 minutes ago Not worried at all. You could see him clapping and blowing in his hands. Give it to him 25 times this week Quote
SoonerBillsFan Posted 58 minutes ago Posted 58 minutes ago He needs to know that now teams are focusing on it and use 2 hands more. He does that, we should be fine Quote

A couple have been sloppy on his part. You cannot reach for the goal line like he did. That Wii be a point of emphasis for the whole team. It always is taught. also, if people get more punchy, he might break a few extra tackles, right? Quote

PoundingDog Posted 12 minutes ago Posted 12 minutes ago Teams are active looking for answers against you, especially when you have success. Cook is superb in short spaces finding a crease and it looks like defenses are increasing the effort at going after the ball instead of merely trying to tackle him. To me it is a concern because when we go into the playoffs, the quality of defense we are going to see and like someone said, the volume and critical plays Bills' offense is placed on his shoulders.
