  1. 1. What will Sean applogists do when he is fired from Buffalo without ever winning a SB?

    • Finally eat crow and understand he wasted the career of the Greatest Bill of All Time with his weak defense, bad gameplans, and major in-game mistakes
    • Be just as bummed as everyone, but think it wasnt his fault and he just needed a couple more lucky breaks and he couldve done it
    • I'm happy with our handful of Division championships and nothing else to show from finally hitting the lottery on a Franchise QB and Greatest Bill of All Time

Not to mention, if you voted does that mean you are calling yourself a McD apologist? I refuse to be burdened with silly labels. I am not an apologist, nor am I carrying a pitchfork. This is a little too much like the dreaded “P Word” for me. Most people are rational and in the middle somewhere, but they are not the people we hear from the most. There are not just two sides to anything.

The funny thing is, if McD won a SB or two, I wouldn’t see him any differently. He gets no pass from me, no lifetime extension. I would judge how the team performs each week and over time. I wouldn’t say “LOOK! I was right!” I’d still be concerned about the shortcomings I see in his coordinator hires, among other things. Since the Frazier hire it’s mostly been clear underlings rather than established minds great on one side of the ball or the other. I’d rather not have guys trying to grow into the job. I don’t love everything about the guy, but I do appreciate the good that has come from his tenure. Hopefully he gets a ring, and I’ll of course be happy, but it’s a process that will continue to move forward.

Yeah, some people prioritize being "right" above just about anything else.

Randall Cunningham was grossly misused and born in the wrong era. He was Lamar Jackson before LJ. Steve Young is another one that would be an absolute beast in the current NFL. Stats aren’t everything. The Fantasy Football brainwashing continues

Except you’re just selecting players at random and wrong in your assumptions to boot. As stated, they all made Super Bowls, several on that list made multiple super bowls. Have we made a Super Bowl?

Who cares if it was the wrong era for Cunningham? 😂 because ChronicAndKnuckles

declares a guy never made as far as he could because he was born in the wrong decade doesn’t mean he belongs in a list with first ballot half of

fame QB’s. Selective logic, based on lala.

I didn’t select QBs at “random.” Wth ? I listened all qbs with ONE ring. Then I listen ones that i consider great (You’re nitpicking Randall Cunningham?) that couldn’t quite make it over the hump one way or another. My point is high level talent at QB is not always a guarantee to win a SB. What are you not grasping? I feel annoyed that i even had to type this out.

I think what the new regime ends up doing would have a big effect on this question too so it’s somewhat tough to answer the day mcd is fired

it could be a Jon gruden bucs situation where everyone that wanted mcd gone could take an epic victory lap or it could be a norv turner  chargers situation which would make it a little murkier

As long as we keep winning the division sooner or later we will go all the way to the Super Bowl. As long as we have a team that competes for the division title every year and makes the playoffs every year I’m happy enough not to want to risk it for something unknown. The only good thing with replacing Beane and McDermott is that the whiners would be quiet. For a few months, then they’d probably start again.

What if that Super Bowl win never comes? For every one that says if the Bills change regimes that it may fail, it can equally be successful.

I honestly believe the drought years has hurt the mindset of many fans. Many seem scared that if a change happens, that a return to the drought years is automatic.
