We tried him on two slants against Pittsburgh. One clean drop, one poor route that led to a drop on a tougher than needed to be catch. Allen has thrown 2 INTs in his direction downfield this year. Shakir has had a few opportunities to make routine sideline catches and couldn't finish. I don't know why so many Bills fans still think that we under utilize him. He isn't a traditional slot WR that you can feed normal targets to. Every time we've tried to give him a bigger role it's turned out poorly.

I disagree with you. Shakir has shown that he's capable of catching 10 to 15 yard passes and then have great success after the catch. We haven't seen this much at all. That's on Brady and his lay calling. They have made a clear choice to pass him the ball behind the line of scrimmage. Look at his average per yard pass plays. Probably the lowest in the league amoung active WRs. Too imply Shakir has had the opportunities to be productive down field is not accurate.

Josh Allen should be the highest paid member of our organization. Aaron Kromer should be the second highest paid. No idea how he has not gotten poached yet but we need to make sure he has all possible raise and promotion opportunities in Buffalo so he never leaves.

I was glad we got a penalty cuz I didn't want to go for it. At that point I had little to confidence our offense could actually get it.  It was a close game. Points are at a premium. At least get something.  TAKE THE POINTS.
