One smallish, 32 year old WR, with 19 catches on the year, is not going to come in here and change the fortunes of our season.

1. The OC is out here running a Pop Warner offense with about as much creativity as an 8 pack of crayons allows.

2. Against real defenses, with real pass rushing threats, this OL folds up like a lawn chair.

3. The defense couldn't stop a Division III walk-on RB from getting 100 yards rushing at this point.

None of this is helped by a WR who hasn't cracked 700 yds since 2021 and is now on his 6th team.

The last time the Bills drafted in the top 20 was in 2019 with Ed Oliver. In last two drafts the Rams and Bills both had six picks in top 100. Rams at 19, 39, 83, 99 46, 90 Bills at  33, 60, 95 30, 41 and 72. I see more higher picks on Rams side. So yeah think Rams draft position helps. Yet could counter point.

I guess that what I’m saying, is that with the exception of Verse, the Bills had an opportunity to anyone that the Rams took. The Rams and Eagles are so well run. They’ve just hit at a much higher percentage than most teams. They have high end players on rookie deals. That’s a necessity in today’s NFL.

It's amazing how many board members are "told" things from a regime that even Adam Schefter can't get info on. Yet every third poster on this board has a trusted source.
