For sure. My son and I were talking about how good it felt not to let the refs dictate the game one way or the other. Overall, a well called game and unfortunately, an exception to the norm it seemed.

We'll take it.  It was dissected pretty well on the telecast and all thought it was a good call.

At least they showed it and talked about it. I’m still wondering about the holding call on Dawson Knox from the game before, where the guy just fell down and there was little to no replay, review or discussion. I guess that by comparison, this was good. Refs are like OL, they hope nobody is talking about them after a game, because it’s rarely good.

The RtP call that the Bills benefited from was really soft.

Landed on top of him and made no effort to shift his weight.

That was an easy call.

In the heat of the action the defensive player may not have realized Josh got rid of the ball, but still, no reason to drive through the QB like that.

In general, I thought the calls and no-calls evened out pretty well, and the refs didn’t make themselves the center of the game.  That’s pretty much all you can ask.

Maybe, but by the rules it was correct. And they held anyway which would have given the Bills a 1st down as well.

Shout out to the refs overall yesterday for letting the players play.

In a game that featured 9 lead changes and some very momentum-shifting plays, the refs didn't have a factor.

Kudos to Referees:

Dana McKenzie

Terrence Miles

Mearl Robinson

Anthony Jeffries

Terry Killens Jr.

Thomas Eaton

Alex Moore

Watched Chiefs game yesterday and flags were flying all over

No.  Its hard to sound authentic when clearly biased, but his fingers got up under the lip of the helmet, and caused a reaction exactly the same as a face mask.  At first i thought it was a bad call, but i think it was actually a super high level call.... especially once that "rule specialist" guy came on... that dudes a shill for NFL, but he said their is a provision for it in rulebook, I doubt he waws making that up... either way good call and id say the same if it was on us

Yeah that one was rough.  Lineman call that a "*****", its advanced lineman play, but basically, you catch a player over  extending/reaching and you redirect his momentum and drive him down.  Dion has been a beast with it, but he got flagged on it twice last year.... which is rough as hell, considering thats basically highlight reel lineman stuff

Dion does a hand chop when defensive ends over extend

That is high leverage technique and those penalties are bs... Typically not called because it's not a penalty.. refs react when they just see someone on the ground

You cannot and have never been allowed to grab a lineman and toss him to the ground though..or grab a lineman and hold him so other players can get through by you

You can chop people away, as soon as you grab it's holding.. it's hard to find a replay.. but I don't think Alec Anderson did a pure hand chop he did grab it looked like

There is a difference between swatting somebody's hands down and then taking them for a ride versus grabbing them down when they're overextending

They missed a massive block in the back on Poyer. He was in position to make the play and got blown out from behind, and the long TD run occurred. Other than that really no complaints.
