After Hairston played all 53 snaps against Miami and shadowed Waddle on 40 of 41 snaps, there’s absolutely no reason to platoon him and White. Coach can make this defense much faster and more aggressive with a few changes in personnel but he won’t do it. Poyer playing 80% of the snaps while the Bucs gash us is another issue - not entirely on him, of course, but the defense as a whole and its reluctance to go with youth.

I hardly remember seeing Hairston, yet he played over half the snaps.

Ray Davis only played one offensive snap and didn't get a carry.  Seems like his star is falling - as a RB, not as a returner.

No WR played more than 54% of the snaps.  Brady's receiver packages are interesting.

Absolutely. And getting gashed by the run, in no world should Bosa be the leading DE in snap percentage.

Is Hancock dinged again? That is only reason why I can think he is not taking snaps from Poyer. Poyer was very good at one time, that time has passed unfortunately.

For Hairston that's probably a good thing.  Maybe i missed it but I don't think I heard his name yesterday.

Yeah seems like Ray is the 3rd string RB now.  He certainly did a nice job on his 8 special teams plays.

It's not a new thing though really.  He's been on the field for 73 total snaps this season, and has 24 carries for 44 yards.  20 of those 24 carries have been in games decided by 15 or more points.

I don't think he's had a very good season on offense when called upon, but lets not act like he was "called upon" 24 times when in reality its just a bunch of garbage time carries for the most part.  I'd agree when he has been on the field this season the play hasn't been particularly positive or notable.  However, it's a position that requires some rhythm.

Imagine how mad you would be about those kick returns if you were a Bucs fan. There would be at least 3 threads on here about it.

Poyer made 15 tackles, the gashing happened in front of him.

Some notable things. WR snap counts almost even (except Hardman). White slightly out snapped Hairston.

Hairston outsnapped White, glad to see it and should be happening more/more as season goes on.  Im not a fan of platooning corners, unless there is a specific reason/matchup that dictates it.

Also nice to see J Phillips snaps go down.  Hes been a huge liability against the run.

Interesting how they handled TJ Sanders this week, soley at DE and no DT snaps.  Be curious if they continue this - im not a fan of it, considering his best ability is at 3 tech DT and he offers much less from a pass rush standpoint at DE/5 tech.  But maybe they think he can serve that Smoot type role
