Neo Posted Wednesday at 11:52 AM Posted Wednesday at 11:52 AM I’ve gone five straight years. The stadium experience is “meh.” I agree with the sound and replay comments. I, too, wore prescription sun glasses and had the game go a little dark, but that’s not the stadium’s fault. Lastly, you can sing “God Bless America” at any event I attend, any day, any week. And, as a general approach to life, Veterans day is 365 days a year. I’ve heard, but never understood, the organic vs paid complaint. Of course the military advertises and has for two hundred years. Royalties are paid for the Bills’ “Shout” song and for “Mr. Brightside.” I’ve never heard someone complain they were being misled because the songs weren’t “organic.” What do I like about the stadium? Renovations in two parts, I understand, cost $750 million and includes F1 racing. That’s value. Quote
jcamm1966 Posted Wednesday at 01:04 PM Posted Wednesday at 01:04 PM Be in Cleveland for Browns Bills Dec21st (BRRRR), second Bills game there Josh VS Baker. Always a great time, Muni lot is a blast and even the 10 min walk to the Stadium is fun. The Dawg thing is overdone and as long u don't sit in Pound it's a good time. Browns fans are as close as Bills fans to passion around. FYI without the Vets, u would not have the ability to complain about anything. 1 Quote

That’s probably worst sporting event I’ve ever witnessed and has nothing to do with the Bills playing like ass. 1. While the park-and-ride was nice, when we got to the stadium it was awful. Makeshift scaffolding everywhere. Parking lot right next to the stadium 40% empty. No energy, nothing going on. 2. The only televisions in the concourse were little 32 inch screens above the heads of the concession stands. Not on the wall, the were literally just above their heads. 3. It is the worst sound system I have ever heard. Any music was atrocious. You couldn’t understand a single word from any referee at any point during the game. Ironically, the national anthem Singer was perfect. Yet every sound that emanated from the speakers after that point sounded like a high-pitched blender. 4. this is related to number three, but they played that old song: “we’re the Miami Dolphins, yada yada yada” it sounded like someone put a record on from 1933. It was always cut off in mid sentence and you could barely understand it. 5. The replay guy was incompetent. 50% of the time there was no replay. Then there were some of the biggest moments of the game like they stopped to point conversion and instead of replaying a goal line tackle they played phins in the community instead. Holy hell is that incompetent. 6. why are there four large screens in the corner that show exactly the same thing? What a complete waste of screen space. 7. The field was dark. There is actually so much of coverage of people in the stands that the field is poorly lit. It was even worse for me because I wore my prescription sunglasses and it was dreadful. 8. The military propaganda machine was in overdrive. 9. God bless America sung at halftime? Who does this? What an awful game day experience. Absolutely dreadful. The NFL should be ashamed. Stands to reason why that team doesn’t have any fans anymore. I agree with a lot of that having sat in different places around the stadium in the times I've been there. But at midfield sound is fine. Too loud, but audible. There is one good lot of partying Dolphins fans by the front.......the rest of the place is usually lame. The military appreciation stuff for that game was probably a bit less than it is for an average game in Buffalo now, IMO. I just wish they brought out people who were injured or suffering to brighten their lives instead of the people who are doing just great and have lived to 100. No offense to those people but it's pretty transparent that it's as primarily an advertising opportunity so if you are missing a bone you gotta' wait to be thrown one. My main complaint was the travel-size Bills fans who show up and don't make any noise. The showing by the Bills fans in the stadium was as bad as the product on the field IMO. Loud for the first defensive series and then not a peep. Pathetic. We even had a few Bills fans who thought we were being too loud cheering on the Bills when they were on D and were looking at us like we were talking in a theatre LOL. These resort location games just draw people with more time and money than they have passion for the game or the team. Quote

Dumba$$es just standing in front of people during plays while making zero noise. Useless. It was a real bad showing. Really blew a takeover opportunity and the defense probably could have used that shot in the arm. The Bills fans who went to the game and weren't making noise basically got what they put into it. Well we did notice 4 different Bills fans walking on crutches around the lots and into game so there definitely was some similarity between the team and it's fans. Later a fight broke out and some dude was beating another fan with his cane. Just a sh!t show all around. Team didn't bring the energy and neither did the fans. I was afraid of a let-down after the Chiefs game. This team has those 1994 vibes where one week it looks like they can easily overcome their obvious personnel deficiencies and the next they can look hopelessly flawed. Quote
