A tight end heavy offense shouldn’t be a staple when you have Josh ***** Allen as your QB. Isn’t that absolutely correct? Just recall, when WGR dared to ask him Pre Season about why he hadn’t drafted a WR, he went off on them about the quality of the WR “everybody eats” posse and NFL leading scoring offense! Those of us, who said the WRs weren’t good enough by half, were scorned by OBD posters here. Beanbrain punted on Hollins and added nobody to this collection of NO STARS! They weren’t good enough in 2024 and you sure as shite are farrrrr worse in 2025! At best, Shakir (who I like) is a #3. A #3! He is now #41 stat wise. The others are #66 (Coleman) and #100 (Palmer) and #192 (Moore) and #225 Shavers! Hollins had more receptions today than Shavers has for the Season! TRRRRRRRRRRASH! #17 had 3.5 seconds to throw today and yet these clowns still can’t get separated and open! This is on Beanbrain! He punted on any help pre season and laughed at critics. And sensing, they were in deep doo doo pre trade deadline, he got… NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOBODY! Including Waddle who apparently was available for a 2026 #1, not a 2027 #1 which Beane offered. And then, got cold feet. An absolutely disastrous performance. The woeful Fish have the formula. Sack up to prevent Cook from unloading and btw- they can TACKLE 🙄 and the Bills are ***** dead! This is on BEANE! A total failure, losing the room, the team, the fans and a wunderkind Unicorn QB ! Edited 2 hours ago by Billsatlastin2018 1 2 1 Quote

Miami played the run and dared us to beat them downfield and we could not do it. We were unprepared for it. This is what happens when you play a team with nothing to lose. If we beat them deep well that would be the expected outcome no harm, no foul on McDaniel's part, they are 2-7. But if it works (like it did) well then he looks like a genius and the Bills drag their sorry asses back to Buffalo with their tails between their legs. They dont have the talent to beat defenses down the field Quote

I strongly disagree with that statement as a whole, but agree that’s what we need RIGHT NOW because of front office neglect. Yes, we all want a good ground game. And we have a very good ground game when Cook is on the field. But a good ground game, IMO, is easier to shut down than a good pass game is, which we don’t have right now. At least a good passing game when the ground game isn’t effective. Just a few years back, the perfect game followed up by the 13 seconds game, the Bills passing game was humming and the offense, with a pretty mediocre ground game, was basically as unstoppable as an offense can be. The Bills neglecting our superstar QB and forgetting how we became a contending team is why we are in this mess, at least on offense. A tight end heavy offense shouldn’t be a staple when you have Josh ***** Allen as your QB. Which a tight end heavy offense is wha the Bills have . They have a great pass catching TE in Kincaid, A great Blocking TE in Hawes , And a great TE in Knox that can do both block and catch passes but how often are they utilized correctly ? And that falls on the OC and his scheme . The Bills have the weapons and the game against the Fins are games they are suppose to win with what weapons they have on hand . Sure there were starters out but this offense has put up a hell of a lot more than 16 points before so where did it go wrong ? I didn't see any of the game and that might be a good thing because right now I don't need anything else to help to influence my drinking heavily but I think a lot of the pieces or the biggest part of those pieces are in place it's just using them to their full potential or to their strengths and from what I can see it's not happening . I have been a huge proponent of allowing McD to stay on but there have been other coaches that have done really well and been let go because they couldn't get a team over the top . I was just reminded by a friend that Dan Reeves in Denver was that way but was released then to go on to bigger and better things . That being said if by chance the Bills don't make the play offs which if they continue to play like this I'd be willing to jump on the wagon in saying it's time for a change at the HCing position I would still keep Beane because with a different HC's input I think he could get better players to do the job so I'm not about completely blowing ups everything to get it done but sometimes change is a good thing !! The morning show on GR this morning said the coaching staff was hoping for help at WR during the draft this year. How they know that or even if it’s true, I have no idea. But if it is true, the McDermott/Beane being in lock step narrative may not be as true as some believe it is. Quote

Toledo Bill Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago 1 hour ago, BCAS Baritone said: Playing with tempo requires you to put your best 11 on the field and keep them on the field for the whole drive. You can't have mass substitutions on every play, because then the defense must have the opportunity to make their own subs. But not allowing the offense to sub takes one of the joysticks away from the OC, and we can't have that. Plus our best 11 is 13 personnel, which with Kincaid out has to be 12 or 22 personnel. It's stone age but it can work. I remember an AFL playoff game, Raiders-Chiefs, and the Chiefs ran out of the straight T formation the entire game and threw only 2 passes. The weather was fine that day, so it's not like that was the excuse - they just decided to pound the rock and it worked. Might not work week in and week out, but against a banged up defense like the Dolphins had it should have been dominant. I remember that game. All running but it was still fun to watch. Quote
CEN-CAL17 Posted 27 minutes ago Posted 27 minutes ago This is getting old!!! Yeah the offense is always a problem. But as a Defensive HC, your defense is an embarrassment!!!!! A defensive HC relying on offense. Think about that! Times up McDermott Quote
