The margin for error is so slim with a Defensive head coach. You either have a weak OC or you have a strong OC that’s moving on and you have to roll the dice hiring a new one. You either stink or you lack continuity.

The degree of difficulty for Allen’s career vs Mahomes playing his entire career for maybe the GOAT play caller is night and day.

Regardless, this offense is too predictable (Kincaid = pass, Gilliam behind right G = counter left, etc) with too many wasted plays (prayers to Coleman, flares to Shakir, rattled by blitzes and stunts).  Gotta make the D defend more than 8 yards. More Samuel and Moore, less Coleman and Shavers.

It seems this offensive offense is easy to game plan for, when one of the worst defenses this season shuts them out for the first half and gives up only 13 points for the game.  Yet it is so complex that it takes a while for the players to grasp it.

Shouldn’t it be the other way around?

When I hear people like Sal float names like Davis Webb I want to pull my hair out. You know that name is out there primarily for one reason. Local guy and had a job at OBD once. I cant, for the life of me, figure this team's obsession with young first time OCs and worse, why they cant look beyond Orchard Park for literally anything. Buffalo is a small city and TIGHT community...I get it. But this culture of "Buffalo or nobody....muh culture...muh system" thats currently running throughout the organization is really becoming a detriment.

Ya know...theres always a lot of mockery for the "old dinosaur" coaches. How "washed" they are. And sometimes they do land in bad spots and look hapless. But how is Josh McDaniels looking right now? Todd Monken? Greg Roman? On the defensive side, Vic Fangio looked pretty good in Philly, didnt he? Robert Saleh. On and on.

Im not necessarily advocating for these specific coaches. They all have their flaws. But what they also have that the Bills coaching regime seems to disregard, especially on the offensive side of the ball, is experience and when given a good roster of talent, proven competence at their jobs. They have a body of work in the league, tons of experience and most important when given the horses they get the job done. Period.

Josh is going to be 30. This roster is going to turn over very very soon. Enough of the boy wonders. This team doesnt have any more years to waste to see if someone like Davis Webb works out. Get an OC who knows how to do the job coming in the door and has proven in this league that he knows what an NFL offense looks like.

Joe Brady stinks. I get that he’s got next to nothing to work with, but the personnel usage is absolutely baffling. How is Cook off the field in high pressure situations? Why are our receivers running routes next to each other? Where are the quick hitters?

Out of the four OCs we’ve hired, three have been atrocious - Dennison, Dorsey and Brady. Ridiculous.

Brady has nothing to work with. Only the leader in total TDs for the past 9 seasons and a top 3 runner 🤣

I get we aren’t on the level of the greatest show of turf, but this is BS.
