It is their SuperBowl as long as the Bills continue to rule the AFC East. Which is looking bleak at this point. I look forward to when Drake Maye and the Pats start getting this treatment. Next season will be harder for them. Hopefully it starts on Thursday night. 9 hours ago, Low Positive said: I agree with this. But it must be said that Josh would have thrown that pass 3 years ago. He won't take those risks anymore because he is so afraid of throwing picks. I think McDermott and Brady have gotten into his head that INTs are worst the worst possible outcome, and the potential for a long TD doesn't change that. He only "takes what the defense gives him." They coached the gunslinger out of him. That's all fine, but it doesn't work when the Bills get behind by two TDs. Also, it's a fine balance but no QB should play fearful and be hesitant to pull the trigger. Quote

He's a fine person, a great football player, and has been a huge Buffalo booster from day one. Generally people who dare to criticize him do so reluctantly and with mixed feelings. Josh is not playing up to his usual standards... However regarding #2 above, he's far from the top of the list of problems which ails the Bills. Regarding his leadership skills, Josh has been characterized as "our big golden retriever of a quarterback" which is partly to say that he doesn't have the a-hole gene in him like Brady, Manning, and Rogers (and Jim Kelly and Dan Marino for that matter) do. This is both why he is beloved and also arguably an area where he could become a better leader. The next time Josh publicly calls out someone in the organization will be the first. I highly doubt he even criticizes his teammates in-house. It would be great if the organization doesn't confuse Josh "not rocking the boat" with him being happy about the current state of affairs. This organization has done a good job of building a perennial contender around Josh... but they have to do better. I think critique of Josh, his play and mistakes is fine and fair game. He's been erratic this year, late on throws I think he's also gun shy and scared to throw picks. Yet he's deferring on short passes forgetting how YAC was our bread and butter. The pic in the endzone- atrocious throw The fumble- God awful dumb mistake given the circumstances. However the subjective silly takes of " Josh is soft" or " Josh is a poor leader" are terrible takes .....they are nonsense imo. Quote

The guy is carrying an enormous burden that he shouldn't have to If he had some help and he was playing poorly, I'd criticize him He is not in an envious position right now Nice list of excuses. Last year he was MVP a with the same list. What's changed? Quote
