Up

- We're 4-2, still time to get this corrected

- Bye week, time is NOW to get this corrected

- The thought of Beane trading for a WR and DB (now)

Down

- Injuries (demoralizing)

- Penalties (especially pre-snap)

- Play calling (and tackling!)

Bonus: Our D gets GASHED in the 5 and 6 holes every week. Something MUST change or teams will keep hitting those holes.

We may need a 3 up 3 down Bye Week update because right now the available information on Brady’s response to criticism on cute plays and Cook would be him taking 1. Down 2. Down 3.Down!

I don’t have any ups because I haven’t heard a darn thing making me feel like an upswing in results is on our way.

If Babich were on the market looking for a team, he would be unemployed for a long time.

at least in the same role as a D Co.

Shavers does not need to be on the field with the receivers. He doesn’t understand how to read the coverage and is obviously not on the same page as Josh.

I noticed that myself... couple of dumb penalties too.

I'm sooooooo glad we have a bye. Through six games I have not enjoyed one. Not even Baltimore.

maybe the Jets

Walker - he has been the best defender.

Shaq Thompson - notice our D got a lot better when he and D Williams were on the field together.

Cook - continues to have a fantastic year, now if we could go ahead and use our best running back on 4th down. And what about a few designed pass plays for him???

Down

Rousseau - He has not received the vitriol he deserves—I’m here to fix that. One STUPID play at the start of the game changes the tone and entire trajectory of the game. HOW CAN YOU LINE UP Offside on play one?

Brady & Josh - The obvious incredulous 4th down call. But why did they seem to not have a plan to handle the Falcon’s blitz? That’s what they do.

Babich and the Defense - I don’t care about half-time adjustments, how about being prepared at the start of the game? Are they really that much more intelligent than you? I guess so. And if so, is it seriously time for a change?

Did Groot not line up in the neutral zone 2 weeks in a raw? This is football 101 stuff: 1) Am I lined up where I am supposed to be? 2) Did I look down the line to make sure I am lined up onside.

Mental errors like this should not happen.

Amazed that nobody listed the Bills Strength and Conditioning staff as a major DOWN. This roster looks terribly small, and weak compared to every one of their opponents. I thought Pegula bought them a new weight room. Does anyone ever go in there?

I have never been in favor of small LB’s.

I have not been in favor of honestly glorified safeties like I get the change cause its a passing league et al.. they want the speed ... but ours can't use their speed cause they can't get off blocks then Shaq comes in and we all go Holy crap that's what its like to have a LB that can lay the wood down

Getting off blocks, or lack of is a huge problem!

coaching and also just not strong enough to shed along with poor technique/awareness.

TBH I think most people have a higher opinion of Bernard than I do... I just do not see him shedding blocks and making plays especially laterally... like you employ these small glorified Safeties as your LB cause they can run... but they cant shed blocks... so whats the point...

I understand that it’s a passing league, but I will never understand only playing small faster LBers without dominant DTs that can keep them free to flow…. or at least a solid run stuffing 1T.

Exactly, and then we wonder why our LBs and DBs are hurt constantly as well....

I didn't enjoy that one either! Blowouts are only fun when you do it to a good team. Nothing worse than picking on a cripple.

Fair enough... I am just happy when my stress level goes from 15/10 to 3/10... lol...

Week 6 was terrible but if I had to pick it.

Up

1- Walker - Dude was needed a lot and he got his baptism by fire and performed well.

2- Special Teams - Big kick block kept the game a one score game late and the unit seemed to mostly be crisp.

3- Ed Oliver - Not a lot to choose from but Ed played a lot of snaps in a return from injury and he was decent. The context of the game coming back from injury and to play a heavy level of snaps and be decent impressed me. Lots of heart from the defense in the second half.

Honorable Mention - Palmer - Dude looked like he was going to have a big breakout (and he is the best 1v1 man WR on the boundary) but got hurt after the 2 for 60 in Q1.

Down

1- Josh - Hate to say it because it wasn't all his fault but not his best game.

2- Keon and the pass catchers - The Bills need to make a trade for a WR to save the season this game cemented it.

3- Joe Brady - Bad play calling esp after that very strong first drive in both halves. All they needed was a score on one of two drives to put pressure on Atlanta and they couldn't even get into field goal range.

The defense and offense both had bad games. Defense displayed heart in the second half despite being depleted but after a good first drive in the second half the offense couldn't get it going.
