Simon Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Half of their Top 4 DTs Half of their Top 4 WRs Half of their Top 4 CBs All of their starting LBs Their #1 TE Both of their top 2 draft picks They are literally going to be adding 7-8 key players to this team over the next few weeks. If they're still look like this by Thanksgiving, then there will be reason to start considering they're not for real. Until then, a bye and a game with Carolina couldn't have come at a better time. 1 1 3 Quote

muppy Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) one thing that bothers me Simon is the undisciplined play showing up as penalties. Is coaching solely to blame? Edited 3 hours ago by muppy Quote
gobills404 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I can’t wait til Daquan and Ogunjobi are back so I never have to watch Jordan Phillips play football ever again. 2 Quote

At one point tonight I was walking back into the the room and just involuntarily took a knee when I saw another flag. Their lack of attention to detail is absolutely a problem for them right now. 1 minute ago, gobills404 said: I can’t wait til Daquan and Ogunjobi are back so I never have to watch Jordan Phillips play football ever again. Success Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago This is a good, pretty rational post & reminder. But we haven't looked good basically all season. That Ravens upset was a huge high and it felt like we might roll after that - but it was also pretty flukey. We looked bad & outclassed most of that game. We didn't look all that good against Miami or NO either. I'm absolutely willing to see how we look after the bye, and getting some guys back - and really, I don't have a choice on that. But my confidence was rattled tonight. I thought after that Pats game, we'd respond, even w/ the injuries. Quote

At one point tonight I looked on the field and was pretty sure I could see Andreesen, Cam Lewis, Poyer and Javon Solomon all at the same time. There is just no overcoming that level of attrition. 1 minute ago, Mike in Horseheads said: Well we did get a long ball out of Palmer tonight for once. Samuel is always hurt I was amused it came on the first play of the game; as if Brady was trying to make some point. And Samuel has been so nicked up, it's easy to forget he's even on the roster. 2 Quote

There is just no overcoming that level of attrition. The O was a little more intact. Kincaid & Palmer being out definitely hurt, but it shouldn't result in the # of punts we saw tonight. I get what you're saying. But we're still lacking, even healthy. Quote

I would argue Walker is now the starter with Oliver now, with Jones and Sanders as backups. Coleman was meant to be Palmer is a third if their starters, as it’s just him, Shakir, and Coleman. Samuel is a rotation piece. We have no idea if Hairston was going to start. Strong was a long shot, and only was seeing action because Hairston got hurt and Tre is slow. I’ll give you the LBs, but when are they ever healthy? Relying on them is a sin. If your draft picks get hurt, while unfair, that tends to fall on the GM. And none of his top two picks from the last two years are doing anything. Now, with ALL of that being said, I’m more worried about the culture than the roster right now. Josh looks absolutely defeated. These guys are starting to quit and lose faith. We’ve seen way more injured teams play harder than this. I think McD and Beane might be at a crossroads, even when we get players back. But you also assume no one else will get injured, or injured again. Edited 2 hours ago by Virgil 1 Quote
