Except for the fact that Ladd and Shakir play the same position. So you aren't going to have them on the field at the same time very often or at all. McConkey's a Slot. Which is why we didn't Draft him. 10 hours ago, ChronicAndKnuckles said: One of the few times this message board was right. On top of McConkey being a Slot, serving to just take Shakir off the field and do little to nothing to replace Diggs and Davis on the Outside - thus far this season, McConkey and Coleman's stats are near identical - with a slight edge to Coleman: Coleman - 21 receptions, 226 yards, and 2 TDs McConkey - 21 receptions, 213 yards, and 1 TD Through the first 5 games, this idea that we'd be much better off with McConkey is statistically false. JaCrispy Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago (edited) We basically screwed ourselves for the next several years, at WR, because of drafting Coleman, who will never be a #1, and then signing a backup, in Palmer, to a multi year deal, TO BE OUR STARTER… FAIL Edited 6 hours ago by JaCrispy Quote

Pats would not have gone to Bills red zone in the first half, except Keons gift to them. Giving the opponents three points when we are at home against a far inferior team should be like giving you little brother a small head start in a race you know you’ll still win. Blaming this loss on one person is just silly. Quote

Throw out that Baltimore game and he's got 13 catches for 114 yards and 1 TD in the last four games. That's less than 9 yards per reception and he's been held to 26 yards or less in three of those four games. Last year Keons catch rate was just over 50%. 2025 Keon has an 8.7% drop rate. His 50/50 catch rate is atrocious. Isnt that supposed to be Keons specialty? Keon had the best gauntlet drill in his class. Yet he only has 2 yards avg RAC. Why doesnt Brady send Keon on more crossing routes? to me, this is a no brainer. I believe crossing routes would help Keon succeed. Until Keon gets better at 50/50 and back shoulder catches, lets try more high percentage throws 4 minutes ago, Freak-O said: Giving the opponents three points when we are at home against a far inferior team should be like giving you little brother a small head start in a race you know you’ll still win. Blaming this loss on one person is just silly. it was a careless play, forgetting basic fundamentals, early in the game, that gifted the Pats points, when they were having a hard time moving the ball. It sucked the energy out of the stadium, neutralized a massive home advantage, and changed momentum in the game big time. Keon was disclipined before the game, and Im not sure his head was n the game in the first half 1 Quote

These are all good points. Mcconkey put it together for a whole season. I want to see Keon do the same thing. They are both (Shakir and LM) slots, but a good player is a good player. Bellichick did it for years. Edited 30 minutes ago by ChronicAndKnuckles Quote
