If Dak keeps putting up numbers, especially without Lamb, and the Cowboys end up with, say, 11 or 12 wins, perhaps he could swoop in for MVP.   Longshot for the Cowboys to keep winning, likely, but stranger things have happened.

I think there's a chance Dallas could manage a winning record but 11/12 wins feels like it would require a miracle.

Dak has been arguably the best QB in the league this season though.

Baker, Darnold, and Stafford have been pretty spectacular as well

On another note

Even after the loss last night

Buffalo is still the favorite to win the Super Bowl.

+475

Eagles are still 2nd at +700.

I'm sorry, man. Those odds don't mean a thing.

We're near dead last at stopping the run. We lost track of the failures at getting stops on the opponent's 3rd downs.

Philly Eagles should be the favorites.

Im a professional sports handicapper I know what they mean.

Right now at this moment the Books have Buffalo favored to win the Super Bowl.

They can lose there next couple of games and their odds will drop a lot. I’m completely aware of what they are.

I was just posting them for information. Nothing more.

If the Bills and Eagles were to play in the SB next week, 9/10 pundits would choose Philly. Bills have the better QB. But otherwise...not much else.

As for MVP RIGHT NOW...I would go with Mayfield. TB has been injured and he is pulling out wins left and right.

We should be disagreeing with those Super Bowl odds. Weren't we the favorites last season?

Near dead last at stopping the run. And we're the SB favorites? We shall see.

At the end of this season, if we get the number 1 AFC seed, and Josh Allen put up great numbers, he will get his 2nd NFL MVP. We have to remember that our defense has injuries and washed up players who don't belong on the field. Also, a head coach who absolutely doesn't know how to coach defense and he's supposed to be a defensive specialist. LOL

You were saying?

Did you really think wow that guy looks really good? Congratulations on the win. I’m happy because they beat the Chiefs at home, but my opinion didn’t change with him. He’s yet to put a full game together without multiple dumb decisions.

Yes, but Vegas actually has money on the line and isn't in the business of reacting to defensive concerns the way we do.  I'm not a sports gambler but I think the fact that the Bills are still the favorites should offer us fans a little bit of grounding as we panic and prognosticate about future playoff defensive failures.  If Philly should be the favorite, Vegas would make them the favorites.

Vegas isn't predicting the Bills to win the Super Bowl lol.  Our odds are just a function of our schedule and how we're positioned in the standings vs other preseason favorites in the conference like the Ravens and Chiefs.  We're overrated in the odds, but that's Vegas' job.  They want to make it so that if you bet the Bills, you're making a bad bet.

Again you’re arguing with something I never said.  He’s on a team with a record tied for the best in the league.  They’re coming off games where they outplayed the Chiefs and 49ers and passed the eye test easily.  I said he’ll make an appearance on the MVP odds board.  That’s it.  That’s all I said.  QBs on winning teams are the guys on those lists.  Guys like Jackson will disappear from tgat list, even if temporarily.  Did I ever say he’s better than Jackson?  No.  I said he will appear on the MVP odds board.

I’m not arguing about anything either. I just don’t think Trevor Lawrence is that good of a quarterback. I doubt he’ll be in the MVP conversation at the end of the year because he’s not consistent at all
