Youngkin was in Iowa while his Lt. Gov Winsome was in freefall.

Younkin has had an extremely successful term.

He would have easily been re-elected if Virginia law allowed.

He has no responsibility to try to salvage a completely lethargic campaign by the state Rep Party.

Well, no, but if he wanted to protect his legacy, he needed to work a little harder.

It's more like he didn't want the taint of his loser Lt Gov to rub off on him.

Not exactly a team player.

Living here, I don't think your view is accurate.

There wasn't one time in the cycle where she had a chance.

He endorsed her and provided add content for her.

His legacy is just fine and I expect we will hear from him again.

I for one, would be delighted if he re-emerged on the national scene.

Smart. Talented. Great speaker, Natural, genuine enthusiasm. Not a career pol with debts to entrenched forces.

I like Youngkin a lot, just not sure where he fits nationally with the rise of populism on both sides.

I wish he could run for Senate in Georgia.  Not sure he’d win in Virginia, but he’s the exact type of Republican that crushes down here.  Instead we keep nominating morons that can’t beat the most unpopular politician in the state (Warnock) and now have to face an actual popular politician in Ossoff.
