I'm pretty sure MAGA will settle in for "boycott Disney."

The left is currently boycotting Disney.

You really hate to see it.

Your lack of knowledge about how conservatives really think is constantly amusing

I know he was your favorite because of his edginess. You told us so. Don’t despair. Late night “comedy“ will be back bigly and soon enough. All my best to you as you seek out a suitably edgy replacement. The weenie on HBO seems like he might be your type. Keep me posted.

Yes, he was my "favorite" of the 3 network talk show nightlies. (I'm not counting Seth Meyers here)

Not a super high bar! I will watch Bill Maher pretty much every week, but the others only occasionally.

But tomorrow night is Must See TV, baby!

Kimmel's next show will be one of the most watched TV shows in TV history, I think.

I cannot wait.

A big shock today that he is back.

Shows that the people can make a difference still, will embolden them.

I know the usual suspects here won't.

Looks like it wasn’t ratings.  It advertisers.  Or budget.  But the FCC threat.  Prove me wrong.

Nurse ratchet is waiting for a convincing rebuttal from one of his favorite propagandists. Then he’ll post it in their words.

Now that he’s been liberated, I have to ask the question.   Isn’t that  format just a tad boring and overdone in your estimation?   You got the smug know-it-all reading one-off lines, an audience generally propelled by canned on-demand applause and laughter….and a little attempt at edgy yet ****corporate approved**** one liners?

I think you are describing Colbert. Boring, predictable, liberals nod their heads and clap.

I told you, Jimmy K. got just a little edgier, a little funnier when Trump started taking the bait and posting about him. Let's see how he comes out tomorrow ...

There you go, sonny!

See, it would have been better to wait for your Twitter opinion-shapers.

That writing a post in your own words thing? Dangerous!

Well, he was only suspended, imagine that.

Why did the OP say cancelled /

Why were so many sure that the government had banished him ?

Just more TDS I see.

.

I can only hope and pray that @4th&long chooses to end his hunger strike to Free Jimmy Kimmel.  Or, Fallon.  (Whichever Jimmy was on house arrest at their mansion in the Malibu)

Have a burger, 4th.

You certainly did. I’m kinda shocked  No way they did this to poke trump and the fcc in the eye. It’s about the bottom line. Perhaps a bean counter convinced them that damage to the brand is worse than the fcc threats. What do you predict the affiliates do?  still say they don’t run Kimmel. Billions at stake in their deal.   Maybe the show is taped and few can see it or at least MAGAs with antennae can’t .YouTube tv should be good to go.

I get that I don't get it.

Back in the day, watching Eddie Murphy describe how when he became famous 'they just started throwing the ----- at me' was edgy for me.  Chris Rock describing his concerns about going to an ATM was edgy "I ain't looking for Ted Koppel...." was edgy.  Watching these very successful guys try to be edgy on a $25,000,000 studio sound stage sponsored by JC Penny and Kit Kat (per AI, at least), with prompts for the audience to cheer at the right time...not so much.  And now that he was temporarily neutered, I don't know, seems kinda like watching the next great halftime show with Janet Jackson, the obligatory dancers in a traditional triangle pattern first made famous in 1985.   He can be edgy right up to the point of not getting sent into time out again.

Well, that's what makes it interesting, at least for the rest of the week. Same old Jimmy? New neutered Jimmy? Who knows?

All I know is my wife had on the start of the Emmy Awards and Nate Bargatze was horrible.

Bring back Ricky Gervais! For every awards show. And give him a late night show too.

MAGA has been beaten to the punch by your side. Disney is screwed if the bad maga people join with the normies.
