He downplayed that this was happening at all, you know despite video evidence of kids being present at drag shows. Did his patented word salad tap dance and hand waving routine. Denying that porn books are in school libraries I'll admit may not have been him, I don't remember exactly what leftist that was for certain, but it would certainly fit. I'd have to read the exact dialogue to believe this. @Jauronimo do you know what he is talking about?

The nonsense you just spouted is part of the problem. Nice try... It is you suggesting murder... Quiet retirement? Perhaps you are suggesting poisoning... You certainly aren't suggesting removal via democratic process... 1

This has nothing to do with what we have been talking about and your projection of points made by relatively anonymous individuals to large groups. It's your shtick. And it's part of the problem.

Do I trust the elevator guy with the MAGA hat to properly install the elevator in my building? A fair question. At some point all of this suspicion and nonsense and blame game has to stop. Want some truth? Trump is an abomination. A pathological liar. People on the left feel (rightfully) like he can't be trusted. People on the right defend his blatant lies and mistruths, which causes people on the left extraordinary frustration and to question their intellectual integrity, character, and honesty. Then, people on the right have, in many instances, raised fair and legitimate points about, for example, a variety of cultural issues and security issues. I'll say that, taking the border wall out of the picture, the right has been correct about border security, and about taking a tough stance with China. But then the left lumps the right together and calls them all racist, Nazi, etc. Some of the frustration of the left--"the China virus"--is warranted. However, I understand the frustration of the right in that respect. Of course, the right is not shy about calling people commies, and hate-filled, and pedos, etc. And so we can keep going down this path of blaming each other, and having hurt feelings, and engaging in inflammatory rhetoric that both sides rightfully find frustrating or insulting. Or we can all knock it off and try to be more respectful and figure this thing out before somebody else is killed for expressing a viewpoint. Here's another hard truth that doesn't make me a commie or a pedo or whatever. Trump is not the man for the moment. People on the right want certain social changes and security improvements? Maybe find somebody with similar positions who isn't such a divisive, selfish, inept leader and you'll really start to make some progress. I don't doubt that for a second. I also don't think that Trump is capable of unifying anything or anyone. That's just the reality of it. He's a divider. Always has been, always will be. Nothing changes until the "old" crowd - Trump, the Clintons, Biden, Pelosi, Schumer, and Mike Johnson - all are off the stage. The sooner the better, and hopefully we can find some sense of normal. Its not a fair question lol. How can the elevator tell what your political party is? Are you coming with a scenario where he the elevator guy purposely makes the elevator fail one time for a liberal to die and then fix it after? Or what if 5 people on that elevator. You are coming up with a scenario in which the elevator guy is going to put all lives at risk because he assumes you are a liberal? This is the the least fair question lol. This Nurse told you she HATES you. The elevator guy didn’t, you just assumed that. Geezus. 10 minutes ago, SectionC3 said: You have again proved my point. There are certain videos of celebrating the death of Kirk with hundreds of thousands of likes. That is bigger than one or two.
nedboy7 Posted September 12 Posted September 12 So Kirk’s crime was people didn’t like what he said. Sort of like how we all don’t like what the woke idiots said. We’re so advanced.

Yes but one was killed in front of his wife and children and the others weren’t. We have a little bit more sympathy and empathy for Kirk’s family.

You're worried about the nurse projecting her views of an entirely different person to you in violation of the law and whatever moral responsibility she might have. I'm concerned that, taken to a logical extreme, your projection makes it pretty tough for anyone to trust one another. 2 minutes ago, AlBUNDY4TDS said: But we didn't kill the woke idiots, ned. As far as I know, anti-LGBTQ and anti-abortion. 2024 GOP primary voter, which I mention only because I suspect you're going to get into the Twitter trash about alleged "leftism." The point remains that what happened to Kirk was abhorrent, and what happened to those people in Minnesota is equally abhorrent. Let's not pretend that all of this nonsense is a one way street, and that we don't all have to work together to clean it up. None of this is remotely acceptable, and we all have to do our part to stop it.
