Hey guys:

For those of you who have and like Sirius, specifically the Movin The Chains show, I looked up on their website so here you go for those who like Pat Kirwan (ex front office for the Jets, and several coaching stints) and (former QB starting and backup for several teams), Jim Miller.

The camp comes to St. John Fisher on 7/29 from I believe 1-3pm.  Based on on last years they do several interviews taped from that morning, or live many of the top players and of course Coach McD and Beane.

My guess is they will interview Josh, Dion, maybe Cook, Beane, McD,  and maybe some others.  It’s a fun show, and if you go to camp that day, you can probably talk to them when off air, and probably get close to some of our stars.

I know many of you don’t have Sirius, but they are the top NFL radio show in America.  They love the callers, so if you’ve called in on air, let them know it, as they try to prioritize you guys.  If you’ve called in have listened, you may have occasionally heard me.  I’m Dan from Tampa, but I don’t often have time to wait on hold for over an hour.  If you’ve miss it, but have the SiriusApp, they always record for a few days.

Enjoy.  I honestly don’t know how to record the taped show, or would be happy to copy for you guys.  I’m sure somebody on this board. Knows how to record for it.

Don, I remember you I think.  Hey, they make it a fun show.  There aren’t any callers during those three weeks, but I may go to the Bucs practice day and see if I can meet the boys.  Those two do a little more than a dozen of the 32 teams.  The other shows cover the other 20.

And someone inquired on the dates for each camp, and you just do a search, and it will prompt an option to see camp tour dates.  So if you live in Atlanta, or Carolina, or even CA, you’ll catch and go to that camp.

I know I bleed red, white, and royal blue, but I’ve lived in Tampa longer than in Buffalo, so the Bucs are my NFC team.  The only time I don’t root for the Bucs is when they play the Bills.  So every 8 years My boys and I go to the Bucs/Bills game and Don my Fred Jackson authentic jersey, or one of my Kelly ones.

I thought you were Machine Gun Kelly...

How are we supposed to believe anything you say?

My Dad (91 y/o WNY transplant to Winter Haven, FL) also likes & follows the Bucs. -EXCEPT when playing the Bills. Talk about old school -he still reads the NEWSPAPER every day!😲

Because when I call in years ago to Pat and Tim back then, and Mills now, I originally identified to the, Dan from Tampa.  That evolved to Pat calling me Danny Boy from Tampa.  I all ina few times a year for the last 10-12 years.  I realize you’re kidding, but when first made it on TBD, I took the name of my teenage hero on the Bills.  MGK.

Anyway, I know there are some of us who listen to that show when they can in the afternoons.  I love those guys as they are not hot take artists, and give deeper analysis than any other media forum I’ve listened or watched.  I prefer that fair balanced approach, and they have touted the Bills praises for years.

I hope you guys enjoy it.

So does mine Chand as he’s 95, and his only professional position was an executive for the Buffalo News for 44 years.  They allowed for him to save his position as he served during Korea from 1951-55.  He’s a loyal old timer, and how I met so many of the BN Sports greats as I was both a paper boy from 12-15, Then my college job on the docks and eventually throughout the bld during my college years.  Thank god for union wages as I was making $14/hr. which basically laid for my undergraduate degree.

I guess we have more in common than we've shared in the past.  BTW- we need to finally catch one of those 1pm games together around the Disney area.  That should be fairly close to your Dad.  I’d love to meet him friend.

Dad & I recently ‘did lunch’ at 716 in Lakeland. Hope you’ve heard of it. Owners are from WNY and they serve wings, Beef on Weck and a number of Buffalo condiments while displaying an exceptional array of Buffalo sports pictures and memorabilia. Check it out!
-and yes, Let’s do lunch!

I listened to a lot of it yesterday.  Not a whole bunch of news for those of us who follow the Bills closely, but it’s very nice to hear two national guys heap effusive praise on our team and organization.  Kirwan also lit into those criticizing Allen winning the MVP last season.  They called Allen “Josh 2.0” and acknowledged his jump into now being one of the more cerebral QBs out there in addition to one of the most physically gifted.  The interviews were good — Ed Oliver is very engaging, Keon is a trip, and Josh is Josh.

Worth a listen if you have a couple of hours to kill…I think they keep the episodes on the Sirius app.
