Big Turk Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago (edited) Well here is a presumably shorter YouTube video of this Cliff notes: - these types of stunts are used on about 3% of run plays due to quality of OLine in NFL - can be devastating and used more frequently at lower levels due to poor line play - Texans use 7% of the time, Jets and 49ers, similar schemes employ them at higher rate with Jets leading NFL - pre-snap shift from and over to under front. Saint Doug Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago This is suggesting is works best on porous offensive lines. Do the Bills really qualify as a below average OL? Would love to see a breakdown of how often this was used against the Bills vs other teams. Quote

Turk, I especially appreciate the second youtube video as it has the diagram providing color to the scheme. I know this stunt, but by a different name. It’s been a long time since I coached and even longer since I played, but can work. The problem is if you face an elite front 5 O Line, they can counter amd open a big hole. Quote
