That's stating a fact. Through three games, he was on that pace. I never predicted what his final stats would have been or will be in the future.

That said, nothing he did was flukey or gimmicky. With Kelce slowing down, Brown injured and Worthy needing time to learn, he probably would have put up big numbers.

Well when you imply he was on pace for over 1600 yards, you kind of are impying what his numbers would be. Or else, what's the purpose of saying he was on pace for over 1600 yards?

Anyways, all good. My point is a 3 game sample size is wayyyy to early to say he is on pace for X amount of yards.

I agree he is a good player, not denying that.

Greg Rousseau had 3 sacks in the first game last year vs. the Cardinals. On pace for 51 for the season. A new NFL record. He finished with 8. Just stating facts.

In the 13 games prior to his injury including 4 playoff games, he had 93 catches, 1,068 yards, and 6 TD's. He would have went for something like 115 catches, 1,200 yards, and 10 TD's if he stayed healthy all of the last year. That is getting into elite WR production. So maybe a little premature to say he was that, but it was certainly looking that way.

Sierra, thanks as always for taking the time to post it.    Personally, we’re deciding (my sons and myself) whether to head up for the Chiefs game or the Bucs as my boys are born and raised in Tampa.  It’s not optimal in November as all of us have thin blood and not used to the wind and cold anymore.  I have a family member who’s worked for the Sabres for 25 years so I can always get tix at a discount, but she needs notice.  It’s more about work schedules for us rather than ticket availability.

Saul,

1,600 yards and 11 TD's is what you predicted his final numbers to be based on 3 games.

Gabe Davis was on pace for 400 yards, 4 TD's and 20 catches against the Steelers a few years ago after the first quarter.

Sacks are far more unpredictable and inconsistent than receiving yds.

Again, the only point was that Rice had an elite start to the year. It was clear he'd made a solid jump in the offseason. Bottom line: Rice/Worthy/Brown/Smith-Schuster/Royals should be a very solid WR corps. The numbers don't matter.
