the body of Christ as bread. My church uses the old wafer style too. Other church's cube fresh bread.. The vessel isn't the point. It what that bread and wafer symbolize

 

I can preach only so far in a PPP forum. Suffice it to say that the correlation exists between non believers mocking our traditions, Religious leaders etc and the Donald doing it also

I mostly agree with your posts on this topic but Catholics believe in the real presence. Was at a first communion yesterday. Beautiful ceremony in a great parish. It’s a big deal to most of us.  Non Catholics were/are excluded from communion at such ceremonies because many don’t believe or are unaware. It was explained very respectfully by the presiding priest.   They are offered blessings instead.

I'm a simple girl who is a person of simple faith. The fact is I am not who will righteously judge  Donald Trump one day.

In his defense, he rebuked by taking the high road and attempting to educate me on the beliefs around the Christ Thins. Just because he didn’t scream and shout - or call names - which I know is the norm for PPP, doesn’t mean he accepted my childish joke as OK in his book.
