Coordinate Pressure Campaign Against President Trump

None of the European leaders were invited to the Alaska summit, yet all of the European leaders want to tell President Trump what to do at the summit with President Vladimir Putin.  Because, of course they do…

EUROPE – […] The Europeans recognize that they can only do so much to influence a president who often veers off-script and likes nothing more than to declare a deal.

But on Ukraine recently they have met with some success, for example, by persuading Trump to allow them to transfer U.S. weapons to Ukraine and purchase replacements for themselves.

And in recent days, especially after a meeting with Vice President JD Vance in Britain over the weekend, they have found the U.S. administration receptive to some of their red lines.

After that meeting, Vance, in a television interview, endorsed at least one European position — that the current line of contact and positioning of Ukrainian and Russian troops should be the starting point of any talks — rejecting a Russian demand that Ukraine first surrender its entire eastern Donbas area.

Ahead of Wednesday’s call some Europeans expressed guarded optimism, especially with Trump seeming to lower expectations of securing a deal in Alaska.

Welp.  After the US backed coup in 2014, and the reactionary vote to leave Ukraine by the people of crime and donbas.  I'm sure they want to go back to Ukraine.

Isn't Ukraine still in martial law with a being a dictator?

Without an explanation this is just another dimwitted comment. Pathetic.

can one of you MAGAs explain how high tariffs on India costs Russia hundreds of billions?  They're still buying Russian oil and now involved in meetings with Putin and Xi

Trump was questioned by Polish Radio correspondent Marek Wałkuski, why the president has not taken any action against Putin despite voicing frustration and disappointment with the Russian leader’s actions.

“How do you know there’s no action? Would you say that putting secondary sanctions on India – the largest purchaser outside of China, they’re almost equal — would you say there’s no action?” he said, referring to the additional 25 percent tariffs placed on India for purchase of Russian oil.

I'm not a maga guy, but the purely economic reality is that because of the tariffs, Russian oil is less desirable, and is forcing them to sell it at deep discounts, costing them billions.

I doubt it's hundreds of billions, but it is a very significant number, and because that is all they have to sell to fund their war, it is not insignificant.

I regret to inform you that this nuanced position that fails on the TDS 24/7/365 metric makes you full MAGA....to leftists.

I agree  it’s not 100s of billions. However much it is, is not enough to stop Putin. And was enough to make Modi his ally.

I don't think Putin and Russia have a chance.

They can be on this oil life support for a bit, but their economy is so distorted on the input side from oil dependence, which is no longer that important, to the output side, which is a grossly distorted military expenditure centric thing that I don't think they survive.

Eventually, some event occurs, and things go south at an incredible rate.

Modi didn't ally with Russia, he's just harping on a stable relationship India and Russia have had for decades because our President needlessly pissed him off.  First by claiming he ended the border skirmishes with Pakistan, then with tariffs.

Modi is kindly telling Trump to shut the hell up about tariffs and Nobel Prizes or wear the consequences.

Ukraine developing and mass producing the 2025 version of a V1, then pummeling Russia's petroleum industry with them was not on my bingo card.  It would have been laughable pre-War if opposed by S300, S400 and VKS based air defenses...but it turns out three years of attrition on those systems has real consequences...

I think he's telling him more.  He's telling him he's made his pick for superpower alliance.  Could he change his mind?  Sure, trump does all the time.  But it's a pretty blatant F U.

So the Russians had good air defense until lately?  They’re running out?

If Trump wants to hit India hard you don't do it with tariffs. You target the IT services and outsourcing business provided to 100's of US companies. Its a double play. You get ModI's full attention and suggest to US firms they bring these jobs back home. As a kicker maybe sanction remittances sent from the US back to India via H1B workers. That's billions. They'll dump those Russian oil purchases quick. And if they don't the economy there takes a huge hit.

Not because of course they do. They do because Putin threatens the western alliance and trump is enabling it.
