Nice one, idiot!

i mean there’s plenty to pick on him about (start with looking at a picture of him without that beard).  But this petty. He dropped it. He joked about it.  So what’s to make fun of?

I swear some on here are making me consider just registering as a libertarian as I don’t think I’m a democrat if the standards are what some on here have.

Just saw this.  That's hilarious.  And he didn't drop anything.  The award separated from the base.  Talk about poor quality.  Need to save some of that NIL money for trophies I guess.

VP Vance Wades Into Convo on Anti-ICE Riots in LA, Pointing out Its Obvious Ties to Biden Border Crisis

By Becca Lowe

Over the past four years before President Trump returned to office, the Biden administration allowed the Southern border with Mexico to sit open, while inviting many thousands of asylum seekers to fly into the U.S. unfettered by any real guardrails--something that is likely unconstitutional.

As I wrote earlier on Saturday, Trump gave one clear reason why the Democrats did this in a new phone interview; It's the same thing that so many Americans said with their votes for the Republican presidential ticket in Nov. 2024--Democrats would rather cozy up to illegal alien, alleged gang members like Kilmar Abrego Garcia and his ilk than secure the sovereignty of our nation and the safety of its citizens, in the wrongheaded belief that it will win them elections.

One of the main technical issues in the immigration judicial battles is whether Biden's border crisis counted as an "invasion."

So now we have foreign nationals with no legal right to be in the country waving foreign flags and assaulting law enforcement. If only we had a good word for that...

The president will deploy the national guard to quell these protests, and any person who violates the law or obstructs law enforcement will be aggressively prosecuted.

He hints that by any other name, this is an invasion;when people are in the country illegally, assaulting law enforcement officials, and waving foreign flags, etc. That is the current situation in our country, and it is the responsibility of the executive branch to secure our safety as Americans. That is why the National Guard is necessary.

VP Vance added a reminder about what will happen to anyone who keeps the Guard from reinstating peace in L.A.:

The president will deploy the national guard to quell these protests, and any person who violates the law or obstructs law enforcement will be aggressively prosecuted.

Look, I'm seeing this from the inside, and am admittedly

biased towards our president (and my friend), but there's

a lot of crazy stuff on social media, so I wanted to address

some things directly on the Iran issue:

First, POTUS has been amazingly consistent, over 10 years,

that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon.

Over the last few months, he encouraged his foreign policy

team to reach a deal with the Iranians to accomplish this goal.

The president has made clear that Iran cannot have uranium

enrichment. And he said repeatedly that this would happen

one of two ways--the easy way or the "other" way.

Second, I've seen a lot of confusion over the issue of "civilian

nuclear power" and "uranium enrichment."

These are distinct issues. Iran could have civilian nuclear power

without enrichment, but Iran rejected that. Meanwhile, they've

enriched uranium far above the level necessary for any civilian purpose.

They've been found in violation of their non-proliferation obligations

by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA),

which is hardly a rightwing organization.

It's one thing to want civilian nuclear energy. It's another thing to

demand sophisticated enrichment capacity. And it's still another to

cling to enrichment while simultaneously violating basic non-proliferation

obligations and enriching right to the point of weapons-grade uranium.

This reminds me of the time a fellow parishioner asked if I had a gun and a bible.  When I said yes, he told me I couldn't possibly be a liberal.

He didn't ask you if you could actually shoot it.
