School Allows Opt Out for Holocaust Survivor Presentation Due to 'Different Experiences', NO ONE Buys It

Remember when parents wanted the option to opt out of LGBTQ or other progressive sex-ed stuff, they were criticized and called domestic terrorists?

Good times.

A Twitter/X user noted that her son's history class has a Holocaust survivor coming to speak, and that there's an interesting wording to the opt out:

What does it mean? We doubt a school would be concerned about 'different experiences' if it was drag queen story hour.

Jews Take Note: Dems Are Just Not That Into You

By Jonathan Rosenblum

When I was growing up — admittedly not just yesterday — the Democratic Party was the party of the blue-collar working class, and the Republican Party that of big business and the country club set. Today, things are almost the exact opposite. The Republican Party is that of non-college-educated whites, including blue-collar workers, and most big business executives are solidly Democrats. Anheuser-Busch's destruction of its highly profitable Budweiser Light brand with a woke advertising campaign is a good example of the dominant big business mindset.

Going back further in history, almost all blacks once voted Republican, as that was the party of Abraham Lincoln, who freed the slaves. But for decades, black voters have constituted the most solidly Democratic constituency.

In short, things change. But at least since the New Deal, one thing remains the same: Jews vote Democrat. And that would seem unlikely to change with Donald Trump, who arouses visceral feelings of disgust in most Jewish voters, athwart the Republican Party.

And yet at least one recent poll found that a majority of Jews in New York, one of the bluest of states, say they are likely to vote for Trump. Could the non-Orthodox Jewish vote now be up for grabs? Have American Jews discovered that the Democratic Party, or at least its younger, progressive wing, is "not that into us," in the current vernacular?

Well, at least not at the moment.  There are more important things like an election to win...

COME SEE THE ANTISEMITISM INHERENT IN THE LEFTISM:

NBA Star Gives Jersey to October 7 Victim’s Family. Enraged Fans Object.

DeMar DeRozan is a six-time NBC all-star, a devoted family man, and a quiet, unassuming NBA superstar. When he heard in early January that Oron Beilin, one of the victims of the Hamas massacre of Jews at the Nova Music Festival on Oct. 7, was a huge Chicago Bulls fan, he autographed a special jersey for Beilin’s family with Oron’s name and the infinity symbol underneath.

It was a simple, graceful act done without fanfare or press coverage. The gesture caught the attention of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, which decided to honor DeRozan for his act of kindness.

The Simon Wiesenthal Center is one of the most influential Jewish organizations in the world. Since its founding in 1977, it has been at the forefront of fighting anti-Semitism. It was a huge honor for the 34-year-old player, who has spent his career steering clear of political controversies.

But simply appearing at an event and saying a few words in front of a banner proclaiming “Solidarity with Israel” has caused a huge backlash by pro-Palestinian Twitter/X posters and others who have taken a non-political gesture by DeRozan completely out of context.

U. Delaware investigates possible hate crime after pro-Israel display repeatedly vandalized.

A display at the University of Delaware of approximately 900 small Israeli flags was completely trashed the night of April 8, leading school officials to investigate possible hate crime charges and assign officers to guard the re-installed display.

The display was vandalized three times in a 24-hour span, according to a report Tuesday in the Newark Post. The student paper The Review, which did not get a report up about the incidents until early Wednesday evening, noted the vandals had since been “identified and reported” to Community Standards & Conflict Resolution.

California is the homeland of progressive anti-Semitism:

Even Jewish progressives are waking up to the reality of anti-Semitic hate on the Left.

One 19th century Gentile described California as “the Jews’ earthly paradise”. It is paradise no longer. Reports of attacks on Jewish businesses, homes and institutions are becoming ever more commonplace, while university campuses – hardly considered to be bastions of hate – have allowed acts of flagrant anti-Semitism to go unpunished.

Just last week, pro-Hamas students interrupted a graduation party for UC Berkeley law school graduates at the home of the school’s Jewish dean. The ‘protest’ occurred on private property, but that didn’t prevent the leader of ‘Berkeley Law Students for Justice in Palestine’ from smearing the professor who confiscated the microphone from the interrupting student’s hand as an “Islamophobe”, accusing her of “assault”.

It appears that California’s Jews can’t even relax in their own homes without being confronted by zealous radicals. Prior to the event, posters had been shared on social media showing the dean holding a bloody knife and fork, captioned “No dinner with Zionist Chem while Gaza starves.” It’s little wonder that dean Chemerinsky, a well-known progressive, wrote in response that “nothing has prepared me for the anti-Semitism” currently festering on Berkeley campus.

What happens in California says much about the future of the beleaguered Jewish diaspora. California, with 1.2 million Jews, has almost three times as many Jewish people as the three largest foreign diaspora countries – France, England and Canada.

A lot of Jewish friends, especially those who are finally awake after 10/7, say things like "how is this America?" or "It's so scary that this Jew-hatred is happening everywhere." But it's very much NOT "America" and it absolutely is NOT happening "everywhere." In south Florida, Jews wear the dinner plate Magen Davids and no one says one word. In rural Michigan, churches put "pray for Israel" on the signs outside. I'm not naive, obviously Jew-haters can and do live anywhere. But they're only thriving, open, proud, in blue areas and I'm not going to let people ignore that.  A lot of liberal Jews are trying to parse things right now. They imagine they are still of the left but just on this one tiny little thing, their right to exist, they disagree. No, my friends. It's a house of cards and you're pulling the one from the very bottom. The whole left ideology is corrupt and you're going to have to face it. You can't spread the blame around. The hatred, the rage, the violence, the dehumanization is all coming from one side: yours

For a second, imagine that black students at Columbia

were taunted with chants of "Go back to Africa."

Or imagine that a gay student at Yale was surrounded by

homophobic protesters and hit in the eye with a flagpole.

Or imagine if a campus imam told Muslim students that

they ought to head home for Ramadan because campus

public safety could not guarantee their security.

There would be relentless fury from our media and condemnation

from our politicians.

Just remember the righteous—and rightful—outrage over the

white supremacist “Unite the Right” march in Charlottesville, Virginia,

in 2017, where neo-Nazis chanted “The Jews will not replace us.”

This weekend at Columbia and Yale, student demonstrators did all of the above

—only it was directed at Jews. They told Columbia students to

“go back to Poland.” A Jewish woman at Yale was assaulted

with a Palestinian flag. And an Orthodox rabbi at Columbia told

students to go home for their safety. What will the response be?
